One of the most enjoyable westerns I have ever seen and the best poker-movie ever made. Personally, I am a big fan of poker so it was even more fun for me to watch. Jodie Foster and Mel Gibson had great chemistry and dynamics and were both equally good in their roles. The movie somewhat lacked highlights, but was all in all very entertaining.

Loved this movie. One of the more enjoyable comedies, and shows the range of the 3 lead actors, who have all proved there is no limit to the types of roles they can choose. It's also the best Jodie Foster has ever looked. Totally adorable.

Great movie, yet so many people always forget about it, so I will say its the greatest forgetable film ever made. Awesome poker movie, Gibson and Foster were great together, great cast all around.

Everything was enjoyable about this film, and like said Jodie Foster is actually stunning in a movie.

Not a perfect film, but extremely entertaining. In a way, this only works becuase they use Garner, The interplay between the leads is great.

Very entertaining and enjoyable flick. Lots of witty one-liners and charming characters. Goes on a bit long, but still a pretty good film.

 Re: Maverick
Just caught this, didn't know it was a comedy before watching it. I LOVED it though, sooo funny and Mel Gibson plays his best Mel Gibson I've seen. Jodie Foster and James Garner are amazing as wel as Alfred Molina. Loved the twists, turns, and gags this movie created.
