 Re: The Official Oscar Thread
Why it was the best animated film of the year. If the other two had one it would have been stupid. Bolt or Kung Fu Panda don't deserve no Oscar.

I am not completely surprised it had the most elaborate costumes.

Another undeserved award for Slumdog. No question that Ben Button and TDK was superior to it in this cat.

 Re: The Official Oscar Thread
Eh, it's not undeserving. I'd have given it to TDK, but Mantle is a genius.

Hugh's terrific. I'm loving this ceremony -- perfect presentation and pace.

 Re: The Official Oscar Thread
Per HSM 3 appearance in the montage, the Oscars is obviously putting up some effort to connect with the general TV audience.
...why so serious? It is just a TV show.

 Re: The Official Oscar Thread
Yeah sure, The Reader would deserve BP as well, right? You simply cannot compare the cinematography work of Slumdog to Ben Button and TDK. But more to come for Slumdog, I hope that it will lose something, like best song.

 Re: The Official Oscar Thread
I was so wrong about this years oscars. This show has been horrible IMO. The opening was underwhelming. The presentation of supporting actress was a very dumb idea. I'm finding the show to be very boring and unfunny so far and I don't see it getting better.

 Re: The Official Oscar Thread
Do they know that there are other singers than Beyonce? If she's not nominated they find a way to include her in the sahow. I like her, but it's getting too much of her.

What is the link to the chatroom again? I was in it and then out of nowhere it said "you have been disconnected from the system".
