PLOT
It takes some people years to fall in love at first sight... "A Lot Like Love" is a romantic comedy about destiny, connection and the frequently fuzzy line between chance friendships and happily ever after. "A Lot Like Love" traces the relationship of Oliver (Kutcher) and Emily (Peet) who meet on a flight from Los Angeles to New York seven years ago - each of them declaring that they couldn't be more wrong for each other.
Life keeps bringing them back together over the next seven years, but the timing never seems right. As they struggle with their different partners, careers and breakups, they turn from casual acquaintances into trusted friends who can say anything to one another.
As they each search for love and a relationship that's not fated for disaster, it takes seven years for Oliver and Emily to figure out that maybe what they really have is something...a lot like love.

No, I thought he was laughable in The Butterfly Effect. Everytime he tried to look serious, he failed miserbly. I just think he's a very bland actor with no range whatsoever.

Sure I do, but after seeing the films Ashton Kutcher has been in, I think he should count his blessings that he's had it as good as he's had on "That 70's Show" now that this show is coming to an end(Even though FOX has ordered an 8th Season to not feature either Topher Grace or Ashton Kutcher and only make Cameos and focus on the other 4 ) I'm not sure what this guy should do.. I hope he managed his $$$ well throughout the shows run???

Yeah, but are they REALLY??? I mean, how so??? What's Topher done besides the occasional romantic comedy that eventually gets overlooked like this recent one with Dennis Quaid which has fallen off the map??? And as for Ashton Kutcher?? What's he done?? PUNK'd??? Then what??

Looks pretty damn bad. So does that other movie " Guess Who " with Ashton & Bernie Mac. When that guy said " you suck " was pretty funny because it's true.

Looks pretty good except the trailer showed pretty much the whole movie so not sure if there's any point to watching it.

I think Amanda Peet is great, but this movie actually manages the task of looking like a ripoff of a ripoff. It looks like it has virtually the same plot as that Freddie Prinze Jr-Claire Forlani fiasco Boys and Girls, which in turn was a ripoff of When Harry Met Sally...

It looked kind of cheesy, but I dunno, sort of cute too.
