It was quite odd, I agree. But for some reason I just found it very good.

All great movies, I liked the new additions, I wasn't expecting some of them including Lost Skeleton (welocme, there are about 5 people here that are obsessed with it) and Bridget Jones (?). Also, just noticed you had rear-window and phonebooth up there, which is interesting since I heard there are a lot of influences from the former on the latter. I didn't see phone booth, so perhaps if you have any insight into this, I assumed it was the vueyerism, claustophibia (sp?) and the single area filming.

My biggest problem with the film was the pacing. I enjoyed it a lot, but the build-up was a little too slow. And the ending, to me, was not as good as it could have been.

The Lost Skeleton of Cadavara is a great send up of B-movies. It made it onto my list simply for how well it eminated the films it sets out to eminate without becoming to bogged down. Have you seen it?
Bridget Jones I thought was well written and well acted. It was an enjoyable movie and one of the better romantic comedies in my opinion, though my favorite is 50 First Dates.
Phonebooth and Rear Window are similar in respect to the voyeurism, and certainly the small filming area. I never really noticed the similarities until you mentioned them.

Signs is good. Nice position for it though and I'd have to agree. It was good, but it just wasn't "great". And that's not to say I don't like M. Night Shyamalan's films, as Unbreakable made it to #11 on my list (although The Sixth Sense did not make it into my top 100).

The only ones I've seen from this list are the ones highlighted, plus O Brother, Where Art Thou?. Good so far, though.

See, that's the great thing about Top 100 Films lists. They are my personal preferences. It would really be boring if we all loved the same movies.
