The Official KJ Oscar Game (2009)
Here it is again, the official KJ version of the Oscar Game. And for the second year in a row, I will monitor it.
For those are you who are new, or if you need a refresher, Here are the rules.... Here is how the scoring works.... You must RANK all the nominees for every category. If your top ranked film in a specified category wins, you get 5 points. If the film that wins was your second choice prediction, you'll get 4 points and so on. Here is an example.
Best Actor in a Supporting Role 1. Heath Ledger – The Dark Knight 2. Josh Brolin – Milk 3. Philip Seymour Hoffman – Doubt 4. Robert Downey, Jr. – Tropic Thunder 5. Michael Shannon – Revolutionary Road
If Heath Ledger wins, I receive 5 points. If Brolin wins, I'll get 4 points. If Shannon wins, I'll get 1 point.
For those categories that have 3 nominees. The first choice gets 3 points if correctly predicted. The second 2 points, and the third, 1 point. Every category (yes, all 24) is up for prediction. So, the more categories you predict correctly, the more points you are gonna get.
Here are the categories
