She says there'll be no Pyrotechnics and a stage that has a Mud look to it in Black and White with a few costume changes along the way.. She said it'll be just her and her band having a good time but refuses to discuss SNL or The Orange Bowl.. I mean how could there be anyother way around the issue since she can't sing and STILL refuses to acknowledge that she can't?? What's it take to get this chick to wake up and smell the coffee that she sucks and should stick to what she did best and that was on that WB Show??? Perhaps the loss of $$$ and not making any $$$ on this so called Concert Tour of hers will wake her up when it sells poorly??

actually, i did a whole study on this. One of the primary focus was music though the subject was very generalized, taking behaviour into account.

live performances are more than just visuals though. its putting on a show. its something people used to say about Grateful Dead. every time they would play in front of people, they would add something new to each song of theirs .. making it a different from their last outing. Thats what great music was always about. to keep the essence of the real song and give it the twist for the occassion.

Poor Ashlee Simpson

People bash her without ever knowing the full truth. Kind of sad. Set aside that she only is famous because of her sister, and put yourself in her shoes. She probably has enough to deal with. All the more power to her, I say. Let her have some fun, but she'll never survive this whole ordeal. I guess she's aiming to be the most booed person ever, by getting booed all over the country.

Dr. Phil and I finally agree on something.

He had a bunch of silly white women on the show today who are spending thousands of dollars to look like celebs and others who obsess over celebs.

One gal spent tens of thousands to look like Ashlee's sister. She was talking about a picture of Jessica, and how beautiful she looks.

Dr. Phil said, believe it or not, that it's all smoke and mirrors. That he's seen her behind the scenes and she's a cute girl and all but doesn't look like those photos. It's all Hollywood and gloss and not real life. The woman tried to say Jessica still looks good in ballcap and jeans but Phil wasn't feeling it.

He then said you wouldn't be able to pick her out in a crowd.

Was that today's show, Loyal? I really don't like Dr. Phil, but he's on at a time when nothing else is on, so if I feel like clicking on the TV while I'm on the computer, I'll watch him. I had it on, but turned it off before I saw what the show was about.

I think people forget that we all see atrrractive mena nd women everyday, and that if celebrities were just standing around most of them are rather nodescript, and in regulr cothes, sans the personal trianer and the entourage we;d look and go cute and move on with our lives.

Some people are truly striking and have characteristics that cause us to notice, but Simpson looks like alot of petite, blonde large breasted women, cute yes...so breathtaking that I would see her and stop dead in my tracks at the pharmacy, not really.

Celebrities jsut give us nice airbrushed photo spreads.

One of the girls who rents the apartment upstrars from me, is small, blone, petite and very hot...I contend she has a pretties face then either Simpson or Spears, she just has smaller breasts.

Yeah, today's show. It was the first time I've ever seen someone in his position actually make a comment like that. He didn't say she's ugly or anything, just that, she's cute, nothing worth obsessing over. Just a normal girl.

Apparently, the whole rock and hardcore persona was an invention of her dad aka the smartest manager on planet Earth.

He didn't want her to compete directly with her sister so he had the bright idea to dye her hair, have her listen to a few rock cds and send her off to TRL.

I knew the guy was smart when I saw a clip of the second season of her MTV show. It was after the SNL incident and before her next concert. He told her to "pretend" to get upset at her band for playing the wrong song. He actually pretended to be her while showing what to do.

"Oh, a hilarious reinactment of what they first claimed happened at SNL."

I feel sorry for her...I mean she has to know she cannot sing worth a shit, yet she is setting herself up for dissapointment?

They may not forgive, but they will forget. The Orange Bowl didn't come a year or two after the SNL incident. It only came a few months after, when she was still being heavily bashed by everyone.

Yeah, she should've stuck with that WB show she was on.. It was safe and a paycheck and less humilation than embarking on a tour that's bound to flop...

I feel really sorry for her, but she did this to herself, and now she must lie in her own bed, because she made it. There are consequences for everything, and she must live with this for the rest of her life. I'm a fan, but I understand where everybody is coming from. I think her career is pretty much over, unless she can prove she is a worthy actress, which I doubt.

First off, a huge big deal about Janet Jacksons mighty pretty nipple, and now, a huge hatefest against a teenager?
Since when does such a huge massive gigantic "we can never forgive you ashlee" sized deal get made over a teenage girl getting caught lip syncing?

Eminem lip syncs ALL the time [quite badly too] Britney does it, Madonna even does it, every artist out there has dabbled in it or relies heavily on it - so why the hell should Ashlee Simpson bear the brunt of the industrys problem as a whole, sure she represents a blatantly commercial attempt to capture fans who think listening to her rock influenced music will make them cool - but so does practically everyone in pop music AND in genres such as RnB and more notably [but blindly ignored] the new revolution of Indie.

Just take a look at rock and indie music, there are literally hundreds of bands using outsider writers, vocal processors and more importantly, were created and packaged by the record labels to target an audience - JUST the same as pop. Basically, record labels are moving away from pop music, picking up groups of people instead of just one, taking the bands original formula and totally transforming it into something to attract older teenagers who think that they are being trendy by listening to the....same genre everyone else that age is. Its practically identical to the whole process of manufacturing pop.

So its ironic and funny that fans of different genres, and pop itself, should have a crack at Ashlee Simspon and say all this nonsense that shes totally manufactured when infact nearly every mainstream band out is processed and manufactured.

At the SuperBowl of 2004, the rest of the world was in hysterics at the utterly insane prospect that Janet Jackson nearly caused a riot of mothers because of her pretty nippy. And now we are all shaking our heads in dis-approval. Not even the sun ran this story on Simpson - because it was so stupid. Drama queens
