I like the idea of having a few legends jamming together. That, I would have loved to see, too. Two legends doing a colaboration would have been sweet. Am I the only one who thought the setup he was playing on was awesome, with the effects going off on the stage..... man, I thought it was the coolest thing ever. Better than some nasty albino nipple popout.
The setup was pretty clever, it looked great in HD.

It was a terrific half time show. It was entertaining, and the music was great. Live or Let Die brought the Hard Rock, Drive my Car brought the whole "Oldies theme", and the moment he Sang "NA, NA, NA NANANANA!," for Hey Jude, I was just like..WOW.
Great halftime show...
The best in my opinion was the one with Nsync, Britney, Nelly, Mary J Blidge, and AEROSMITH!

You know what pisses me off? That only FOUR people complained about the halftime show. What the fuck is wrong with the FCC? Four people out of 80 million complained. SO?! Jesus, the FCC really sucks. And so do those four people. If you have nothing better to do than call up the FCC and complain a halftime show THAT YOU ARE NOT OBLIGED TO WATCH IN ANY WAY is boring, then you might as well make early reservations to your gravesite, because you aren't doing the rest of the world much good.

For a Guy who's 62 Years old, he not only sounded fucking FANTASTIC, But looked FANTASTIC and brought a tear to my eye listening to him belt out The BEATLE Classics along with some McCartney and the Wings music from James Bonds "LIVE AND LET DIE".. One thing I can say about Sir Paul Mc Cartney is this: At LEAST He sings his material with his own Voice unlike the Boy Bands and Bullshit you teens listen to today like Brittany or Christina Aguliera or Ashlee(I Can't Sing For Shit) Simpson and ALL should take a Good long look at McCartney in how it's done.. That's the end of that.. It's UNDISPUTED.. =D>

Paul McCartney is a legend. The fact that he has lasted in the business over 40 years says something. Compare that to here today gone tomorrow Stars of the past few years (I use the term stars very loosely).

Paul was awesome, as he always is. There isn't a musician in the world who was a bigger influence on me. He's the guy that inspired me to learn how to play several instruments. He's also the guy who taught me how important being able to sing harmony and hit those high notes is. Lennon was my favorite Beatle, and the biggest idol I've ever had, but McCartney was the musician that really inspired me to be more than just a guitar player. He's certain a billion times better than any of the shit on the radio today, and there isn't even a comparison when it comes to talent.

BKB said that Term came across like a teenager, not that he was a teenager. This is not ignorant, it was astute. Please save your grudge bile for a truly ignorant post of BKB's -- goodness knows you'll have ample opportunity. \:D/
I enjoyed the halftime show, but sadly it reminds me that nowadays we have to make a choice in our musical entertainment. Do we choose a visual performer who is stunning to look at but has to lip-sync to computer generated music, or do we choose a musical performer with stunning original tunes but simply dosn't carry the visual weight? McCarthey was never the type for fireworks and stage stunts, but he looked so small and dark out there on the field. They should have dressed him in something a little brighter (Maybe they didn't dare criticize The Master's costume). At least the producers went out of their way to make absolutely sure that McCartney was singing live.

It was a really nice musical performance, and was the only part of the Super Bowl I watched (sorry, just not a football fan, nor a fan of major hype surrounding football). Anybody who complains to the FCC about being bored over what they watched must not see 85% of network television.

Sir Paul was great!

Aside from attacking Termy, I agree with BKB for once. Rarely do teens ever listen to ACTUAL talent and enjoy it. I am 18, and I loved this a lot. I absolutely hate rap, I dislike hip hop, and even the pop stars are starting to get on my nerves (thank God Kelly Clarkson jumped away from her pop roots, because I really like her). This was real music, with REAL talent, and a real performance. How many of the hip hop artists, rap "singers", and pop stars can say they have any one of those? Not many. It's too bad we probably won't get to enjoy something Sir Paul on the Super Bowl for a while. It will probably be 50 Cent next year, Eminem the year after, etc etc.
(Note: When I say rap, hip hop and pop music, I am not referring to ALL forms of the genres. While I can't say I like any form of rap, I know there are rare cases of talent in that genre, as well as the other two. They're just not my cup of java.)
