 Re: International Cinephile Society nominations
These are certainly some snobby nominees, but any kind of snobby that includes love for In Bruges, TDK and Rachel Getting Married is a good snobby for me!

AWESOME! These nominations are great!
Soooo happy to see Michelle Williams nominated, as well as LOVE SONGS (which I loved) and Rosemarie DeWitt.

Yeah, these guys win. It's like they actually watched the movies and considered things. Crazy, I know.

They certainly didn't like Slumdog Millionaire and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button much, heh.
But it's cool to see all the noms for In Bruges.
Looks like they also loved The Edge of Heaven a lot...I need to see that one.
Having Gomorrah up for Best Adapted Screenplay and not Let the Right One In is one of the few flaws here, IMO.
Something tells me that Milk is gonna win...

 Re: International Cinephile Society nominations
Even though I loved Benjamin Button, it is kind of cool that they didn't show hardly any support for the two films most likely to win Best Picture

Re: International Cinephile Society winners announced
How did Bashir top the foreign films list (and win best animated) but not get on the overall top ten list?
