Well, if I remember correctly, she does say that Margo replaced her, right? So, we see the pattern. I thought she was great, but I don't know about sweetheart. No one really was. There were just better and worse characters/histories and what made her the best of them was that her past seemed the worst. Like she was the one who truly lost out. But what a great movie that was! I noticed that it was shot with no direct sound like Bycicle Thieves. Was this a sort of thing that was prevalent in Italian cinema at the time?
