Nolan is being honored in their ceremony. Dunno what that would mean for Pfister's chances.

I think Australia will replace The Reader for the Oscars.

Re: ASC Nominations I agree withy most fo the above. Reader and Revroad are on pretty shaky ground.
Also, I had this same issue last year but don't know if I said anything about it: when you guys post these, can you at least spell out what the acronyms stand for in the first post? I've been following this stuff for years but I still can't remember what all the acronyms stand for. Thanks!

Re: ASC Nominations Yeah can the Academy really give another double nomination to Deakins? Aside from Rev Road, he is credited for The Reader along with Chris Menges.
