 Re: ASC Nominations
Pretty good lineup. Milk is the only potential spoiler for the Oscar, I think. I'm not feeling Australia in the techs any more.

 Re: ASC Nominations
They really love them some Deakins, don't they? Because Revolutionary Road doesn't belong anywhere near this list.

 Re: ASC Nominations
I thought The Fall would show after the craziness that was 2006.
Nolan is being honored in their ceremony. Dunno what that would mean for Pfister's chances.

 Re: ASC Nominations
Slumdog, Button and TDK all have a good case here.
I think Australia will replace The Reader for the Oscars.

 Re: ASC Nominations
I agree withy most fo the above. Reader and Revroad are on pretty shaky ground.
Also, I had this same issue last year but don't know if I said anything about it: when you guys post these, can you at least spell out what the acronyms stand for in the first post? I've been following this stuff for years but I still can't remember what all the acronyms stand for. Thanks!

 Re: ASC Nominations
Yeah can the Academy really give another double nomination to Deakins? Aside from Rev Road, he is credited for The Reader along with Chris Menges.
lol @ Raffi - American Society of Cinematographers.
