Transformers 2 with $375-$430m.
Nothing else will come close as there just arent that many blockbusters coming out.
Avatar is an an unkown. It can still do very well, ie. $300m+ but its a big unkown at this stage. Titanic is an anomoly, as Cameron's next biggest only made $200m. Still Avatar has a better chance of breaking out than Potter or T4.

Well Avatar is an unknown which is the problem. Potter, Terminator 4 and the others are sequels that have pretty much a known amount. Half-Blood Prince isn't going to make 100 more than OOTP. Now if it is World Wide I think HBP has the edge unless Avatar again surprises.

Transformers may be affected by fewer repeat viewings due to less money going around.

But to become the highest grossing movie of the year, it doesn't really need repeat viewings; it just needs an enormous opening weekend, and it will manage that. The first one was a huge crowd pleaser that sold well on DVD, and the summer season is shaping up to by dry enough at the box office that it will be one of few huge franchise names out there. Even if it sucks and falls apart after its opening weekend, it will probably still end with enough to be the biggest movie of the year thanks to a massive opening weekend (like Spider-Man 3 in 2007).
