I agree.
We haven't had a "fun" stretch in a long time. As much as I enjoy serious discussion and might not enjoy some of these goofing off threads, they are ultimately good for the forum.

That David Caruso thing you have at the bottom crackS me up and is from a movie with Nicholas Cage as a Bouncer on fucking Steroids but I can't think of th title for the life of me at the moment.. I think it might've been called "KISS OF DEATH"..

I.. I keep trying to write meaningful concise posts that are on topic and have actual information, but my posts all come out looking like little black symbols that you have to think about. Posts like this are just no match for those huge boobly images or endless quote nests.

Yeah, it is Kiss of Death. It also stars Sam L Jackson.

I think both is good as long as evenly made. What I don't like is that we have a period with ONLY (well, by only I mean 90+% of course) dead-serious/political debates and then for another period we have ONLY "spam" (not negatively meant) threads. I'd prefer if we had a similar amount of them at the same time.

I think baba is right that there was too much poltics for a while but levy is right that things have swung too much the other way, a bit too much AoL chatroom ish lately. Not suggesting anything major be done about it, other than hope it's just a passing phase.

Thank you, Ahmed, for our defense.
Honestly, why do people care so much about one lighthearted thread? Can't we relax after all the tense debates?

If there is an Achilles' Heel to box office predicting, it's overdramaticness. Like when SM2 had a $32 million Friday and everyone screamed "OMG SONY IS DOOMED!!!!111111111111" While here, it's "OMG ONE LIGHTHEARTED THREAD WOKJ IS DOOMED TO BECOMING AN AOL CHATROOM!!!!!111111111111 NO!!!!!!!!!111111111111111111111111"
The strange thing is, none of the mods or admins mind, it's all these posters who can't have a good laugh.

Levy is cool, but the things he said were indeed unwarranted.

What are you talking about? I said Levy is awesome, because he is, and everyone was sort of beating up on him for speaking, so I wanted to throw out a compliment. My little whinge? lol. Funny. I love posting here, I wouldn't be here if I didn't.
