This seems like a film that will be around for a while, so I think it deserves its own box office tracking thread.

I believe that's the only poster.

I think it's fine, personally.

And I am REALLY impressed by its run so far, and it should be interesting to see how it does this weekend as it goes into semi-wide release (Somebody said it's going to be in 500+ theaters).

Cut it some slack on the poster. It was supposed to go straight to DVD, before getting saved, and becoming a strong Oscar contender. They only ever made a poster for the intended direct to video release! :P

I bet they're glad they didn't send it Direct-to-DVD :P.

Why is it horrible? I'd say it sums up the movie rather well.

Holy shit - thanks to that big poster I just realized this was a Danny Boyle film.

If this gets a BP win and a good enough expansion, I can see this hitting $100M.

Excellent expansion for Slumdog Millionaire considering the deflated marketplace for all openers and holdovers this weekend. It seems well positioned to really capitalize during the holidays.

A great weekend for Slumdog Millionaire. It could potentially be at just under $30 m by the end of this upcoming weekend.
