"Paramount Pictures has set Harrison Ford and is negotiating with Rachel McAdams to star in Morning Glory, a comedy that will be directed by Roger Michell, reports Variety. The Harrison Ford casting was first reported by MTV.

McAdams would play an aspiring news producer who tries to save a failing morning show by getting control of its feuding anchors. Ford will play one of the anchors, and the other will be set shortly.

Sounds really quite generic, but it is good to see McAdams getting back into the business full-time.

Sounds like "Back To You", the Kelsey Grammer/Patrica Heaton sitcom flop.

Ah, well, the Prada screenwriter knows comedy beats, and anything high profile with Harrison Ford (one of my all time favs) is a plus! Rachel McAdams would be another plus.

I liked The Devil Wears Prada too, but I think the same screenwriter also did 27 Dresses which was pretty mediocre.

As much as I love these two actors, I hope Rachel isn't playing Ford's love interest. I mean, she's not really that much younger than Calista Flockhart, but still.

But anyway, it is definitely nice to see Rachel not taking a break from movies like she was before.
