For sure. :D

I won't be around unless there are travel issues, so someone else will have to do the workload.

Can we outlaw everyone not named trxister, kypade, yoshue, Shack, snack, Jon, Gulli, roo, loyal, and makeshift from voting?

Back in 2005 he infamously gave King Kong 4 stars (One of two or three films that year, I believe), only to put it in a tie for 10th place with Wedding Crashers on his Top 10 list.

generally, he's a pandering douche.

I'm not all that worried about RR right now, honestly. What does scare me is Frost/Nixon.

^Failure of a list. Might as well have included his Top 100 of the year.

Thanks for this, but there was a site (actually a blog I think) that tallied exactly these TOP 10 lists... Is the site still functional? I remember last year before Oscar they tallied like 140 critics TOP 10 lists.

:funny: I don't really care actually I'm just saying it's stupid to call them Top 10 lists if you're going to exceed the limit.

I don't like the whole Top 36 films of 2008 though I'm fine if it goes a little over 10.

WALL-E has now been mentioned 13 times on Year End lists.

Did Roeper call it the top 10? Because I dont see that in the post. The thread is called 2008 Top 10 Lists, but I think it's kinda up to the list maker if they want to list 14 or 20 or 76 films on their website. Plus, they are ordered so you can figure out which are his top 10 if you really want to (they will be the ones labeled 1-10).

I'm under the impression we're not supposed to isolate the Top 10. It's exactly like Ebert's though Roeper's are ranked.

David Poland reported on his blog that WALL-E was ranked #1 by EW but I can't find it anywhere, whether its Lisa Schwarzbaum and Owen Gleiberman or both.

The #1s for Wall-E are encouraging, and the fact that Iron Man has more mentions than it or RR so far makes me think F/N doesn't have the supporters, but can easily get three major noms plus Editing.
