It would probably 41-42 for the 3 day and about 60 for the 5 day, not feeling it.

Iron Man may move to Wed April 30.

Not really sure why they are doing that unless they are really confident in the product that they hope that people see it on Wed/Thurs and then spread WOM that its good which helps its Friday-Sunday.

I think they are scared of Speed Racer which is clearly going to much bigger than they originally expected.

Moving to a Wednesday in late April is never a good idea.

Personally I think they should swap release dates and Speed Racer should open the summer.

The only two films this summer that should have opened summer were Indy and TDK. Both would have had 100m+ OW for sure in that spot. But the studios were smart and went with better release dates for each.

I honestly think Speed Racer should move to May 2nd. I think both Iron Man and Speed Racer can co-exist. Speed Racer plays to families/nostalgia crowd while Iron Man plays to fanboys/males. The two could have combined for 100m+ OW. Then, leave second week of May empty so that both of those films could stablize.

Shut up bitches.

Let Iron Man open without any opposition else Space Chimps will inflict heavy damage upon tdk.

What are you smoking? There is no pixar flick releasing against it. Even if it does they both will co-exist like Die hard 4 and Ratatoullie.

I bet that A-team date will change to 2010. No script seems to have been written for the film yet too

I must be behind on that news and didnt know John Singleton is directing it. It should have the potential to make 100 million if they arent going to make it into a comedy like Starsky and DOH plus depending on whos playing Bosco

Singleton has a very good box-office track-record actually, especially with his films usually breaking out and making more than most people expected (Four Brothers is the best example probably)

I read a script review for this somewhere and man it was just crazy. So many unbelievable stuff happening.

So what 4 actors u think will play the roles in this?

Oh and this will be PG-13. Yes the script is written in R rated style but just like DH4 dubbing and stuff will be done to secure a Pg-13 and then double dipping on dvd.

as cliche as it may sound The Rock is probably the person to play Bosco. I wouldnt mind Ving Rhames or Delroy Lindo getting the role. Kimbo Slice fits the role more though

John Singleton is planning on gettling Woody Harrelson to play Murdock.

I'd be happy with any of these. Though hopefully they dont go for Ice Cube like has been rumoured for a while.

Not so sure about Harrelson as Murdock, maybe some wise cracker like Johnny Knoxville would do. At one stage Jim Carrey was mentoned for the role.

Hannibal should be a well respected former action star - maybe Bruce Willis or even George Clooney.

Face - maybe Ryan Reynolds...

I think this could be a huge hit - much like Get Smart this year.

There goes Oscar.

Yeah that doesnt bode well for it oscar wise. I guess they are going for the April Adult film like The Interpreter, Indecent Proposal, U571, Sahara, Changing Lanes, Along Came a Spider, Entrapment etc

Personally I think its better off with a late summer slot.

me looking forward to that more than the spirit.

Len Wiseman created a kickass monster franchise. Though he isn't returning back to direct this which is kinda sad. Also Kate Beckinsale isn't returning as well so double sadness. Hopefully the new director does good job with this prequel.
