It looks like he posted his predictions while he played derby, and then retired at 100 games and all time champ, but didn't post very much. What are you doing Ragnarok?

Yes, retiring after hitting 100 games setting near impossible records to break , damn him! hehe.

I guess we (omni and I) could try aiming for the highest average yearly score though. Gotta beat Vovanik's 84.72% from last year, currently have an average yearly score of 85.02% (Scotty is above the 84.72% with 84.81% also). Always fun to set a goal to reach or not fall below. :P

Ragnarok:
Overall Accuracy: 84.72% | Openers Accuracy: 74.40%
Total Points: 87,348
Games Played: 100 | Avg. Score: 84.7% | Avg. Rank: 45.7

Corpse
Overall Accuracy: 84.23% | Openers Accuracy: 73.75%
Total Points: 75,805
Games Played: 91 | Avg. Score: 84.3% | Avg. Rank: 66.6

Omni
Overall Accuracy: 84.11% | Openers Accuracy: 73.22%
Total Points: 94,207
Games Played: 113 | Avg. Score: 84.1% | Avg. Rank: 71.1

Omni is over 100 Games, but it's be really cool if I was able to beat Ragnarok's Overall Accuracy, Avg. Score, and Openers Accuracy, the only ones in reach with 9 games left. This stuff is fun. ha Ragnarok's Avg. Rank is insane, is that because there were fewer players then??

Actually the number of players has remained fairly stable, increasing only slightly over time. TDK really boosted this year's average. The average ave. score is highest this year, so some combo of the games are a little easier and/or the competition stiffer. But among 100+ gamers, Ragnarok easily led in relative to average as well. One tough MF! The list as of a month ago was:

Player, Ave Rel to Ave
Ragnarok, 1.159
Gemini_2, 1.151
Vovanik, 1.149
Alex Young_2, 1.145
Omni, 1.145
xiayun, 1.141
Brandon Gray, 1.141
Scott Vasquez, 1.138

Year Ave Players Ave Ave Score
2002 480 69.4%
2003 409 73.8%
2004 446 74.1%
2005 441 73.7%
2006 472 73.7%
2007 449 72.9%
2008 491 74.7%

I guess we can attribute tracking to the higher scores

Very much surprised that my score could sneak into the top 10 this week. Congrats to the winner for winning by such a big margin. Looking at the history, he is a veteran player who has had a lot of bad scores but also quite some top 10s, including now 4 wins.

And congrats to DIB2, Levy, and Proud Ryu!

12th? How did that happen? I thought I'd be outside the top 100. Damn, this could have been a fantastic score hadn't I lowered Australia and Transporter too much because of the early numbers...

Not the best week for KJ, but congrats to everyone in the top 50.

Congrats to Ev@n, xiayun, DIB2, Levy, Proud Ryu, and Rumple

I was 40th for the week. Getting a 50% on Changeling really hurt. I'm also 22nd for the month and 8th for the year.

Another week with a surprising high rank for the dismal score. #16 is very good considering I went really low on Cadillac Records. Congrats to the Usual Suspects and to Riggs for his good score his week

Ouch, that hurts. Will forever (well, maybe a few days) wondering how I predicted 4.7, a sub-35% drop, for Australia; may have used a wrong base or something.

Still, the best 4-week stretch I've had in a long while.

Congrats Chipmunky, Mistuaa, and Mark!

At least you didn't predict a 40%+ drop for 4XMases. I had a theory and it appears that the direct opposite was true.

Hmm, we still don't have to predict Milk or Slumdog.

I guess it all depends on theater count, but it would toss a new curve ball into the game.

We probably will if they go wide after Xmas. Any thoughts?
