Hopefully, after getting the SAG award, he will go on to his first Academy Award win.

- And just looking below, I wonder if he would have won if he was nominated for Supporting Actor in Shawshank - wasn't Robbins the lead.

------------

Academy Awards, USA

2005 Nominated Oscar Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role
for: Million Dollar Baby (2004)

1995 Nominated Oscar Best Actor in a Leading Role
for: The Shawshank Redemption (1994)

1990 Nominated Oscar Best Actor in a Leading Role
for: Driving Miss Daisy (1989)

1988 Nominated Oscar Best Actor in a Supporting Role
for: Street Smart (1987/I)

Im not joking, i dont know why everyone thinks Morgan was so good in Shawshank, why does this role stand out, and none of his others?

He acts just as good in everything else, this is no exception.

I agree with you. He is just consistent good, mostly.

And in Shawshank, I also liked Robbins alot as I had never been much of a fan of his before.

Also for notes, Freeman does the voice narration in both Shawshank and MDB.

I don't know. I'm still thinking about it. It didn't affect me THAT much emotionally, but at the same time, still an excellent movie.

No no no. How in gods name can Spiderman and Blade affect anyone emotionally? By emotionally, I mean things that happened in Million Dollar Baby, which I don't want to spoil right now. Certain scenes, especially the ending, affected a lot of people emotionally (crying, etc), but not me. That's what I mean.
