Yeah there is only one guaranteed $300m film and a bunch of $200m films. There is alot of breakout potential though (Persia, 2012) - they just have to slot them right. Plus a few more big films will come on board soon. Austin Powers 4/Dr Evil would have been perfect, but it may be too late.

they've had two films a year since Shrek 2:
2004: Shrek 2, Shark Tale
2005: Madagascar, Wallace and Gromit
2006: Over the Hedge, Flushed Away
2007: Shrek the Third, Bee Movie
2008: Kung Fu Panda, Madagascar 2
2009: Monsters and Aliens
2010: How to Train Your Dragon, Shrek 4, Master Mind

it balances out but still you wonder what they screwed up on for such a delay.
I mean Avatar won't affect it's gross seeing that it's weeks after it's release.
Also A Christmas Carol and Alice in Wonderland have the same impact on it's gross.

where is PoP going now?

It can't go anywhere in May because it's pretty crowded with middle-sized and big hits.
It can't go in early June because of Up, late June because of Transformers.
It can't go in early July with Ice Age 3 and 2012 now there.
It'll do shit in August.

If this is good like the original Pirates; it could develop legs and therefore be put against a big contender without hurting itself.
However who would it go up against?
Up, TF, IA3 or 2012?

Maybe it'll move just one week up that'd be okay. 3rd weekend of Up, 2 weeks before TF.
Legs will carry it through nicely from its OW to 2012.
Only thing BV will be worried about if it cuts Up's legs.

Lmao. It will do much worse now in april since april has been a very weak month for movies and it will get no summer legs whatsoever and in april a lot of university students have exams so there goes that demographic. I sure as hell won't watch it in april.

Release wolverine memorial weekend. This will scare terminator 4 and hence that movie will move.

Move NATM 2 to last week of july or 1st week of december.

Keep IA2 for July 1st.

The production of the Dragonball movie has alot of negative feedback from alot of the fan forums. Think Transformers but 100 times much worse. Actually its more in line with Catwoman as far as backlash. I could see why they are moving it to april instead of next summer or winter

By scheduling it to start the summer season, it would be one of the worst summer starters since Kingdom of the Heaven which was also made by Fox. Keep Wolverine's start that as it plus if they move Wolverine to Terminators date, WB can easily move Terminator against Dragonball like they did with Clone Wars
