i don't know. the movie to me felt like it had to go from A to B and thats it. But to get there, it put the car on nuetral and asked a 4 year old to push it .... yea it'll eventually get to point B .... but still.

I loved the vision, but it's all in the execution (or lack of). It felt so short and very mixed up. I'll look forward to Aronofsky's next film, but i doubt i'll be re-visiting this unless there's a director's cut. Was pretty to look at though. B-/C+ ish.

The meditations on life and death and above all that love are handled pretty clumsily in this visually rich, but emotionally a bit empty movie (which is surprising).
