How much longer will "American Idol" last?

 How much longer will "American Idol" last? The ratings supposedly are declining every year but the show still does really, really good. How many more years do you think are left in it before it finally becomes too expensive to justify the ratings (because of Cowell's insane salary demands)?

Re: How much longer will "American Idol" last? I don't see it going anywhere at least until the format of TV changes or something. I mean, it already is... I mean until something drastic happens.
