Italian, Spanish, and French are among the "prettiest" languages. The romantic languages, I guess. I'd put Italian and French above Spanish (even though I know Spanish well, if you ask anyone OTHER than Rod) only because there tend to be lots of Spanish speakers with no appreciation for the language; the final result ends up sounding like jibberish. When Spanish is spoken quickly and eloquently, though, it stands on its own against Italian and French.
1. French
=1. Italian (I think Italian can sound a bit goofy, but I can make out more of it than I can with French)
3. Spanish
4. Portuguese
5. "Blue State" English
On the Bottom: GermanIK, Russiaestwski, Austrik, and Doootch

Pft, you're like an actor who goes to an audition and raves about how great his french is to the casting person, and then says to ask ANYBODY they want and they'l see...except Audrey Tatou.
You fraud

I like Italian, I put it 4th. And French after that. The Latin Languages are very nice to listen too, but way too similar.

1. Hindi/Urdu: Poetic and flowery. I understand it fully but speak only a little
2. English: Easiest language to learn and the most useful.
3. Kannada: Flowery South Indian language (Mainly spoken in Karnataka, a southern state)
4. Tulu: My mother tongue, as well as Aishwarya Rai's (Coastal Karnataka)
5. Telugu: My Father's language (Mainly used in Andhra Pradesh)

To those who have said English is the easiest to learn, I think they are mistaken. Out of the 4 languages that I have learned, Spanish and Italian are easier to speak or write properly.

That is just total bollocks; English is one of the easiest languages to learn. English grammar is such a joke. There are no grammatical genders and there are only two cases: the nominative and genetive.
Pfff.
