Frank Capra Appreciation!
Since Makewings said he was not familiar with Frank Capra, I have started this thread for people to comment upon his work!
Capra made films from the silent days, through the great depression, and into the 60s. He constantly championed the "little man" against the powerful, and his films are quite funny and genuinely inspiring in some cases. He also made some real crappy films too, but you can say that about any director (well, except a few, but I'll leave that for another thread). Some of his films, like any old film, feel very dated but of course you have to understand that when you watch older movies.

The real one, not the Adam Sandler remake. Capra won another Best Director award for this one.
