I don't know about you guys but I think the Joker is a homosexual. It all makes sense...it all comes together when you put the clues together. First of all...he wore makeup!! HELLO! The Joker is a human being MALE? right? Sooo. I just don't see why he needs to wear makeup. I've never seen a guy wear makeup before except for gay people. Well my brother had to wear some for this drama thing but that makes sense. The jocker was supposed to be a real villian...how could we take him seriously with all that makeup. He also had a bad relationship with his dear father....atleast i think he did. I kind of fell asleep in the movie (whoops!) but i heard that most gay people don't like theit fathers! ANOTHER clue. Oh and I think Heath Ledger was gay too. I know he never publically announced it...but 2 gay movies? come on he must be gay! He just has to be!!! Maybe that's why he killed himself?? Just a theory...i'm get side tracked. But that's what I think about the Jocker. And it would explain the success of TDK. I mean these days people are gay crazy. They just love the gays....and since the movie is about Batman it gives straight males a reason to see a gay movie. Of course they don't think this way....it's all subcionsious. What do you guys think? I can't come up for any other reason why people like this movie. It's just really bad. The scene where he was in the hospital made me want to throw up. I know the american health system is bad but gosh....this is just ridiculous.

maybe the Joker started to wear make-up to cover his deformed or cut-up face and after he went carzy, the makeup use went into overdrive.

No, I think it's pretty clear that he was a gay.

So... I didn't see the film until now. I just wasn't that interested. I thought BB was pretty good, and suspected that this is probably better, but the hype just never got me that excited. I figured I wasn't going to love it like so many others do.

But damn, it IS brilliant. Outstanding movie. The best superhero movie ever made, and might end up being the best movie of this year.

9/10. I haven't given that grade to any movie for a while.

That would have completely taken away the soul of TDK, reducing it from the level of "amazing" back down to BB level of just "really good." Harvey Dent's progression was essential, and it HAD to end in his death

Can we please let go of this fucking film already? There's not even a discussion here anymore, why is it being bumped up time and time again?

Supply and demand, supply and demand.

People still demand The Dark Knight, so users here supply the demand by bumping this thread.

There is no demand. The suppliers are marketing the product themselves, to themselves, positioning themselves as the consumers. I roll my eyes at you collectively.

I agree very much with Insomniacdude. It made the film much rounder, complex and the whole character Harvey Dent was suddenly working. While the film shows us, how terrorism works, Harvey shows us also what terrorism and hate can make out of someone.

I wish I had an imax theater here. Caught it while I was in New York and was completely blown away again. I would've seen it ten times if we had one here, stupid Cleveland.

It still sits in amazing status with me after five viewings. I'd be surprised to see a better movie this year.

And my full review can be read here: http://unleashed.yakimablogs.com/2008/0 ... p-to-hype/
