The idea was conceived last weekend and the team has been working hard to get it ready.

This is only for WoKJ members right now as its still under testing. We apologise but the forum account cannot be used for it at this moment. We encourage you though to use the same username (in the hopes that we are able to get the forum account and this one integrated one day.

Points of Note:

- The objective of this game is very simple. Choose a movie and predict what score it will 'score' on the tomatometer over at rottentomatoes.com.
- Prediction for the movies can be changed at any time until admins close the prediction function for them.
- Movie predictions will close 3 days prior to opening unless specified otherwise.
- Movie predictions will be updated for most movies on Mondays. This may not be the case everytime as some movies take longer for their reviews to come in.
- Even if predictions close on monday, an update might take place later on the movie again in case the tomatometer changes due to very late reviews.
- The purpose of this test right now is to let everyone here familiarize themselves with the game.
- We are looking for user feedback. Do tell us if there are any usability functions or even worse, you encounter actual errors. We expect to be there. The alpha test barely had anyone testing so we expect some errors to creep up. if something major pops up, we might suspend the game but do not worry, we'll restart it as soon as it is fixed.
- This game was built in 5 days. We have tried our best to make sure you experience no problems and to provide you with a decent enough interface for your enjoyment. While the interface may not be the most satisfying, please remember that interface changes will take place over time. Do advise us though of how it can be improved.
- During alpha testing, a couple of users were confused by a few things. While these things have been rectified to the best of our abilities, pleease tell us how to improve on the text and/or feature to better clarify the purpose of a page.
- Charts and prediction update page will be revealed once the first movies have their predictions updated.

You can view the results of what everybody predicted. There are details still being worked out by bABA. When this game is all worked out, it should generate a lot of interest, as should the box office game that will follow.

You mean I can view them now or do you mean the tweaks are being made where I can view others predictions?

You should be able to view the results, but he may have taken that page and link down for now because he's working on stuff with that. Are you registered?

He's either working out some bugs on that page, or he sent me a direct link to it, and it isn't linked to any of the pages yet.

You can only see the full results once predictions have been closed I THINK because before that you can alter your prediction at anytime until the game is 'closed'

This is something I wish would be changed. We shouldn't be able to change anything once we enter a prediction. What kind of prediction is it when you are able to keep guessing until you get it right? (or closer)

Well if thats the case, you should make predictions due sometime around thursday because half of the RT reviews arrive before friday morning and it generally lets a poster know exactly where the films score is heading

the tweaks were made over 3 days ago. the cool thing is, we do not want people to get influced by another person's prediction. So other people's predictions are not viewable till the results come out. When they do, you will have access to the complete score chart for the movie highlighting the best predictions to the worst.

there will be a leaderbaord and best predicted movie chart as well.

All the above are ready and tested. I'm just waiting till monday for the first results to come out before you can all view them.

The way the games timing will work ... all the games will close for new predictions probably around a week before the movie is to be released. You will then be able to see what everyone predicted.

Roid, i dont think you read the rules. Except for this week (where i'm allowing predictions till friday so all can see the wonderful charts on monday : ) ), the predictions will all close usually 3 days prior to the movie coming out.

Maverikk, people can sometimes make mistakes so i do not want to stop them from changing a prediction. but they can change all they want cause they wont know how close they are till much after predictions are closedd : )

there are no bugs at all or tweaks as it stands right now. all has been tested for it. Now, the only bugs in the program that exist will creep out from the test that you guys are doing.

I had to delete all test accounts Maverikk so as not to have any data in consistency. You'll have to register again. Once this beta test is done, you and zingy will have admin status for the game cause i have a feeling i may be out of the country from time to time.
