The idea was conceived last weekend and the team has been working hard to get it ready.

This is only for WoKJ members right now as its still under testing. We apologise but the forum account cannot be used for it at this moment. We encourage you though to use the same username (in the hopes that we are able to get the forum account and this one integrated one day.

Points of Note:

- The objective of this game is very simple. Choose a movie and predict what score it will 'score' on the tomatometer over at rottentomatoes.com.
- Prediction for the movies can be changed at any time until admins close the prediction function for them.
- Movie predictions will close 3 days prior to opening unless specified otherwise.
- Movie predictions will be updated for most movies on Mondays. This may not be the case everytime as some movies take longer for their reviews to come in.
- Even if predictions close on monday, an update might take place later on the movie again in case the tomatometer changes due to very late reviews.
- The purpose of this test right now is to let everyone here familiarize themselves with the game.
- We are looking for user feedback. Do tell us if there are any usability functions or even worse, you encounter actual errors. We expect to be there. The alpha test barely had anyone testing so we expect some errors to creep up. if something major pops up, we might suspend the game but do not worry, we'll restart it as soon as it is fixed.
- This game was built in 5 days. We have tried our best to make sure you experience no problems and to provide you with a decent enough interface for your enjoyment. While the interface may not be the most satisfying, please remember that interface changes will take place over time. Do advise us though of how it can be improved.
- During alpha testing, a couple of users were confused by a few things. While these things have been rectified to the best of our abilities, pleease tell us how to improve on the text and/or feature to better clarify the purpose of a page.
- Charts and prediction update page will be revealed once the first movies have their predictions updated.

all you ahve to do Pink is to go the site and register. Right now, we still haven't created an email confirmation form so the registration is terribly simple. Username, password and email address. No more.

Nice idea. Are all the scores going to be open to public which means everyone on the site can read the scores? I had all the movies as rotten except for Inside Deep Throat at 94%

Umm ...

When I close the scores for 2 movies on Monday, you will have access to 3 charts.
These charts will all be public.

Chart 1: Choose movie and see how everyone faired against the real tomatometer rating

Chart 2: Leaderboard: Best users based upon all their predictions for movies.

Chart 3: Best predicted movies. Which movies did the users have the least amount of predicting accurately.

Just entered my predictions.

1. Boogeyman - No advance screening for critics. Not a good sign, and critics tend to react angrily to those films. 7%.

2. The Wedding Date - IMDb score has dropped considerably the last couple of days, so I don't see the RT score improving much with more reviews. 11%.

3. Constantine - Early written reviews from IMDb are very bad. They aren't fake either since you have to write 10 lines or more to get posted, and all those are pretty detailed. 5%.

4. Hitch - Early reactions are pretty good. People think it's really funny. 63%.

5. Inside Deep Throat - The average RT score is 6.9 out of 10, and the RT rating tends to be higher than the average when it is fresh (and lower when it's rotten). 75%.
