Same reason Osi shouldn't have played his last game.
It's pre-season. If you're a starter and not a rookie, you shouldn't be out there.

 Re: 2008 NFL Discussion
Peyton and Tom don't/rarely play in pre-season. And of course every player practices. I didn't even say anything remotely close to that.
Learn the ways of football. Everyone knows that little, if any, playing time in pre-season is necessary.
Pre-season is for players that are rookies or trying to make the team.

 Re: 2008 NFL Discussion
Most starters still play a half game in pre-season to get ready.
But Brady is hurt.

They play a half because they all suck.
Look at this weeks games - Manning, Brady - to name two.
They played 0 minutes. And guess what, they are the 2 greatest QB's playing currently, and 2 of the best to ever have played.

 Re: 2008 NFL Discussion
The guy just threw 50 td's and he has no backup because they all suck. If he is hurt in the SLIGHTEST, it makes NO SENSE at all for him to play in the pre season. Why you think LT never does? That said, yesterday was also his boys 1st birthday. Brady isnt hurt. He just thre 50 touchdowns, the coaches know what he can do. They dont know whohis back up is; mide as well find out when it doesnt count. Moss did the same thing last year, and he looked pretty good in week 1....so much for those "distraction" rumors...

I guarantee the Patriots:
1. Make it to the Super Bowl. and your 1,2,3 don't even make sense - as the giants will get to the playoffs to beat the Pats. Anyway, tough talk after the Giants lost maybe the best defensive NFL player. Guess with him they would have won 12 games and then swept through the playoffs again PS. Maybe Strahan will return again to kick Brady's ass some more. Also even without those 2, the Giants still will lead the NFL in sacks PS2. Maybe then it will be Farve and the Jets to end the Pats. Saw his comment yesterday - I think he will play after the Giants offer him a great contract. Also they said that he will be out for 4 months - that is the end of Dec - wonder if he can come back for the playoffs?

Screw the Giants. Also thought about this last night - you are really a punk/asshole. But after the way the Giants kicked your the Pats/Brady's ass in the superbowl, I can see why you would be a punk and be scared to have the other team play their best players. LOL, all I heard last year is that nobody touches Brady - and I told my freinds - Brady would be running like a scared little girl AND WE ALL SAW WHAT HAPPENED - BRADY RAN AND CRIED LIKE A LITTLE BITCH GIRL.

Umm...
The Patriots O-Line played like shit. And even WITH them playing like shit, Brady STILL almost won the game on the last play, if Randy would have taken 1-2 more strides, then the perfect season would have been complete.
Oh, and you're the biggest idiot I have ever known.

AND WE ALL SAW WHAT HAPPENED - BRADY RAN AND CRIED LIKE A LITTLE BITCH GIRL. Ehhh....Giants dline played the game of their lives, but our oline n coaches made a lot of big blunders- -going for it on 4th n 13 instead of just kicking a field goal -on back to back 2nd n 10's, light false starts. we switch from maroney power running scheme to shotgun formation cause its 2nd n 15 -burress, 6'5, in one on one coverage with hobbs, 5'9, int he redzone -4 plays to get within foal range, 1 time out-bomb to moss every time. Why not a screen to Maroney or stallworth to Moss's side with moss going deep, woulda been an easy 15 yards or more. Could gotten to the 40-45 and TRIED a field goal. I could go on and on

Oh, and you're the biggest idiot I have ever known. Sure loser, whatever you say. The Patriots were out-classed by the Giants. If the Pats/Brady were a smart team they would have stopped the Giants - a team that won what 10 straight road games, almost beat the Pats in Week 16 without their running back and then rolled through Tampa, Dallas, Green Bay and the Pats. and as the Pats were suppose to win by what 20 points, claiming that they almost won at the end is so weak so whatever loser.

Well... since you're obviously blinded by how horrible Eli is... you'll never be able to see how the Giants won't make the playoffs this year.

You're delusional. whatever putz as you aren't even talking facts anymore. and so anyway, are you over the Pats 2007 season yet. 60 minutes away from the perfect season, the greatest QB, WR, NFL team in history and one of the best team in any sport. and then the NEW YORK GIANTS SMASH-MOUTH FOOTBALL SPANKS THE PATS AND BRADY TO BEING THE BIGGETS LOSER IN NFL HISTORY. ( they were one of the biggest Super Bowl Favorites.) JUST A BUNCH OF PRETENDERS WHO GET THE TAG OF SUPER BOWL LOSER. NOW THAT IS SPECIAL.
