I wanted to present Best Comedy, but I don't know if anyone got the message, or if someone else chose it after me. It's on Page 5 anyway. Can I, huh huh?

Hmm, people have to make things difficult. If they just put 4 or 3 for the 5-nominee categories, remind them via PM to see if they can come up with the full set. We can still count them at the end, as long as it's not fewer than 3 nominees.
Oh, for Best Overlooked Film, Best Foreign Film, and Entertainer of the Year, we want 5 nominees, not 3. There should be enough films/people that qualify for those categories. Think hard.

I'd like to present Best Supporting Actor. I asked earlier, also, but no reply. If someone else has already got it, that's fine. I'd like to present something, though.

Every category except for Animated Feature, Comedy, Horror, and Sequal/Remake. So there are 23 5-nominee categories, including the big 8, all the techs, and a few others.

Not at all. We need to make sure everything is clear up front, even if it is chaotic.

I need to break some ties at the BOM awards, so if anyone would like to send me their ballot through PM here or at BOM, I could really use them to break some ties. I don't want to just pick and choose, it feels wrong.
It would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.

Breaking the tie is preferred, but it doesn't work out, you can go with this: If it is a two-way tie for the last spot, you can go with 6 nominees. If it is more than 2-way, you can go with 4 nominees.

I'd rather have a nice cut 5 per category. It will only take a couple people to send me a ballot, likely, to break a tie.

To make counters and voters lives easier, I say as long as its under and not over, just count the names listed. If someone, like myself, only saw one animated movie this year, that movie gets one point, and the others get none from me, and thats it. I had no problems in the poster awards adding a point to a name or a new name when ballots were short, I just had trouble when people snuck in "ties" because we can't award 1/2 points. You guys do as you want, but I'm warning you now you're going to be betting alot of incomplete ballots, and that unless you want to go chasing after everyone who sends you a ballot, then they reply three days later they don't want to change anything, or you don't hear from them again because they take a week off to go on break or are busy, that incomplete is fine. Just over complete isn't. You're going to have tons of trouble with the animation, foreign, documentary, etc categories if you demand five nominations on each ballot.

I've realized that, dolce. You're right, and we'll count all of them. I will also stop pm'ing people about Jamie Foxx in Collateral, since every ballot I've seen so far has Foxx in supporting for that role. We'll just count them the way people voted, and if Foxx got nominated in supporting for Collateral, so be it. If he couldn't get nominated in either category (besides Ray) because of vote split, too bad.

Here are the BOM Awards nominee results, incase people were interested in seeing how some "normal" (aka. non-critic/Academy) people are voting (I'm curious to see how KJ compares to BOM). Also, ANYBODY here is free to vote for the BOM Movie Awards, and it would in fact be very appreciated! You can send in a ballot at BOM or here.
http://www.boxofficemojo.com/forums/vie ... tm?t=47426
Here are the nominations! A HUGE thank you to everyone who participated. I hope to get even more voting for winners! It's easier than filling in nominee ballots. Heh.
TO VOTE FOR WINNERS:
1. Pick 1 winner per category.
2. Send a ballot to Cotton or MikeQ. via PM.
3. Hope your favourites win!
4. Winner voting ends February 23rd, 2005 at midnight.

Comeon guys, as you can see , there are many categories that are still waiting for one of you to show them some love, and present them as only you can at the awards ceremony. 15 are left, by my count. This is a lot of fun for everybody involved, so don't be shy. Here are the categories that still need a presenter.
Best Supporting Actress
Best Ensemble
Best Editing
Best Art Direction
Best Costume Design
Best Score
Best Sound
Best Song
Best Makeup
Best Breakthrough Performance
Best Animated Feature
Best Sequel/Remake
Best Overlooked Film
Best Soundtrack

I'll put you down for it.
Everybody who is presenting will be reminded to get their speeches written and sent in to me 3 days before the show.
The way you write a presentation is entirely up to you, but I'll give everybody an example of how I'm writing mine. I'll start off talking about what a director brings to a movie, and make some stale jokes to give everybody their Oscar humor fix, and then I'll list each nomination, with a paragraph and picture dedicated to each, and at the bottom of the post, it'll say something to the effect of "And the KJ goes to..."
The following post, while the audience is waiting in anticipation, will reveal the winner.
