Independence Day is on July 4th

ID would be so much easier, though. I mean how did this ID4 come about... message boards weren't around back then were they? Were they using them in the tv spots?

Nice to see someone else lovin AG. I really think it would've been better received if it didn't call itself American Gangster, I mean with that name you're just inviting comparisons to Godfather, Goodfellas, etc. Not the same kind of movie whatsoever. I still think Russell Crowe's character was among the more interesting of last year and the drug bust was one of the best scenes among last year, in one of the best movies of last year.

#71 A TIME TO KILL

Image

It was this babe, combined with the massive success of BF, that probbaly led many to believe Joel Shumacher was the next great Hollywood blockbuster director. Oh how wrong that would be, but still, this movie is a fantastic. Samuel J is great as the pissed up black dude who murders his daughters rapists, McCoughany is great as his lawyer; aw hell everybody is great. Riveting! And who could forget: "Yes they deserved to die, and I hope they burn in hell!"  INTENSE!

#69 TRUE LIES

Image

Some jaw dropping actions scenes, some hilarious jokes, and Arnold accent combine for the ultimate action adventure! HOWEVER...How does his wife not realize he is not just "a computer salesman" when he can bench 500 lbs and has an Austrian accent???? :-k :-k Somethings OBVIOUSLY up...

#68 FATAL ATTRACTION

Image

JESUS is this filmc reepy or what?? I know everybody knows that its not that some women are bitches and some are not, its just that some women are bitches more often than others, but DAMN. Alex is a fuckin psycho bitch! The whole "I wont be ignored" and you know Dan just wants to tell her what she was but for real. Close is brilliant. Incredibly creepy. The reason I will always be faithful... :grrr:

#66 SPEED

Image

Some hoggin action scenes n funny lines drive this thriller. Reeves is great as the hero and Bullocks ight too as the girl who does whatever...she looked good in this. Too bad Harry had to die. Hopper was a "meh" villain but the action scenes are too sick to ignore. And who could forget "Dont fuck with daddy!" :hahaha:

#65 HOME ALONE

Image

Hmmm...there is something off about that poster :er:

Fuckin sick movie1 Ive loved ever since I first saw it as a 6 year old in theaters. Culkin shines in the star making performance as the abandoned youngster. Though the schemes get more and more ridiculous, the film is hilarious and you cant help but like him.

-"Kevin, im going to feed you to my tarantula"
-Buxzz's girlfriend :funny:
-the pizza dude :funny:

The 2nd was ight too and the 3rd :grrr:

#64 MEN IN BLACK

Image

Heree comeee the menin blackkkkkkkk

Sick song btw. Big Willie style owns in this as the likeable joke of a cop/person who is too funny and charasmatic not like. Jones plays off him perfectly as the cool, expireienced master. NYC was a nice setting too. And props to Will, getting the white girl though I never knew why K or J whichever one Jones was wanted to retire; he seemed to havign a hella good time! :D

#61 IRON MAN

Image

RDJ is fuckin boss in one of my fave performances outside of TDK in 2008. He's hilarious yet likeable though theres not much dramatic stuff. Paltrow also shines but everybody else is ok. The story is ok. But RDJ really makes this movie the crowd pelaser along with some kickass if rare action sequences. Basically, I ended up liking this a lot more than I expected to. And btw no more retarded "NEXT TIME!" scenes please?

#60 SHREK

Image

I recall going to see this movie with a girl and we had "other plans" and we went to see Pearl Harbor but it was sold out for the nexthour so we saw this instead. But the movie so fuckin funny that I totally forgot about what I had originallyintended to do. I need to rewatch this, I remember fucking dying in theater. Everything donkey from his movement to his voice had dying but the what really got me was the heart it had!! I was one of the "shrek for bp!!" back in 2001. It was fuckin gold. I love this movie.

#57 THE NATURAL

Image

Even though I was no good, baseball has always been my favorite sport and this movie is just great; im still waiting for a PRO football movie to come out and be as good. Redford is great as s close and duvall; basinger is pretty good too. The story and scenerty are also superb, but obv. the best part if the whole "wonderboy" storyline when it breaks and bobby picks him a winning n he clocks dat ball up into the lights which explode with that memorable score going...so good :wub2:

#55 TOY STORY

Image

Onna my all time fave's...this movie has it all. Buzz and Woody are both acted and written extremely well...Andy is pretty funny, but that kid neighbor...I think his name was Sid.. :funny: But the story is too easy to love to not have this in my top 100.

To infinity, and beyond indeed :shades:
