Even if WB doesnt report it, notfabio should give us an idea how it did.

It'll be in the top 3...at the very least, Variety will estimate it.

All Imax shows at Metreon in San Francisco are sold out for Friday and Saturday, including the 3:30am shows.

Regal Hacienda Imax in Dublin, CA has a 6:15am show. :hahaha:

The 12 pm noon show on Friday has sold for Imax at the Scotiabank Theater. There is a 8:30 am show now and they added a 1:30 am show. :funny: :funny:

The Scotiabank THEATER in Toronto has regular showings till 1am!!! on Friday and Saturday.
It has also sold out its 3am showing Midnight show as well and I would not be surprised if they add a 6am show. The place now has 5 midnight show and 4 are sold out.

Also one AMC theater now has 4 midnight showings and it had only one yesterday.

The Coliseum Mississauga has Imax sold out till Sunday.
Colossus Woodbridge has sold out all shows on Friday and most on Saturday.

The Queensway Theater has added a 2nd midnight show.
Coliseum Scarborough has added a 2nd midnight show. (one sold out)
SilverCity Richmond Hill has added a 2nd midnight show. (one sold out)
The theater in Waterloo has 3 midnight shows and 2 are sold out.

My Theater for the 2nd time ever (last was Rots) has sold out its midnight show. There will be a second one for sure and it is only Tuesday.

Only 2 theatres within an hour of me are showing midnights, for a total of 3 midnight showings. 1 of the 3 is sold out though. I don't see any sellouts for FRI.

Yorkdale has one midnight showing and it is not sold out.

Plus I heard from my friend who is watching it midnight at the theater across the street. (silvercity Brampton)
That it is true for the third time ever they have sold out a midnight show and they will add a 2nd one.

I think it means 90% of tickets sold at that site are for TDK which is impressive considering the market it so full of so many films.

Ah great! Thanks!

Thats especially impressive as Spidey 3 may have dominated but it had an empty market place. The competition for this is much stronger.

If you look at 93% of the tickets being sold at the site are for 2 films and only 7% for the older films...

ok AMC River East is now up to 14 midnight shows with all but one sold out.

And they've added a 3:30 AM show. That's a first in the last four years I've lived in Chicago. I guess you guys were right about not just IMAX hype.

Sold out Friday day shows definitely outnumber the available ones as well. Cool!

The theater where I am seeing TDK midnight on Thursday only has three shows right now with two sold out. SATC definitely had more midnight and Friday sellouts at this theater but we do have two more days. Should be interesting..

I am getting scared...is 175 million possible? I mean I'm still thinking 115 million, but the midnights are definitely skewing people's minds here ;)

We are waiting for the bookings to be confirmed before putting up our 5th and 6th midnight shows. We've already sold a few dozen to the 1am show and a few to the 2 and 3am shows. Along with the special group showing at 7:00pm, it's going to be madness at my theater THU night ;)

Midnight show #2 has now sold out ;)

5th midnight show now on sale

FRI 7:00pm is now sold out
The Westgate across town has sold out their first midnight show.

every IMAX theater in L.A. is sold out all weekend at this point, and I'd say most theaters are all sold out for midnight and opening night at this point. I decided to wait until Saturday to see it, in fear of having to sit in the front row or something.

I am starting to think the film will have a spiderman 3 style weekend (not legs).

A large opening day and it fall only 10-15% on Saturday and have a nice Sunday drop.

There has been a ton of news article talking about the film and everyone has now learned the film is "very good". This will make people even more determined to see it opening weekend and it will make people who were slightly interested in the movie to be very interested.

I thought IM would be like x-men 3 but I saw the huge opening and all of the praise and on Sunday I went to watch it. I think what happened to me happened to a lot of people as that film held very well over the weekend.

With good wom and such the film will stay strong and will have a huge Monday due to the sell outs. It may even prehaps repeat what DMC did. DMC sold out everywhere that many people stayed for the 2nd weekend and that led to a small drop.

Some said the movie will not do well in smaller areas.

It appears that is not true.

Places like Ancaster, Oshawa, Niagara, Guelph, Waterloo, Barrie have all added a 2nd midnight showing and they all are places under 200k or so apart from Waterloo which part of a city of 500 put there are three midnight showings and 2 are sold out.

My cousin just got his tickets for the 2nd midnight show at my local theater.

Most likely with the first one selling out so fast and there still being 2 days away there could be three midnight showings or more!!!!

Queensway theater has sold out its midnight screening and added another.

Out of the 20 Famous Players theater having midnight shows (or I can see online) 15 have added anywhere from 1 more to 4 more additional shows.

Or out of the 43 midnight showings, 21 are sold out.

Saw this commercial advertising the midnight showings like three times tonight. I know they've done that for other movies, but I personally had never seen one on tv before. the commercial was pimping Travers' review.
