100. Finding Nemo (2003)
99. House on Haunted Hill (1999)
98. The Truman Show (1998)
97. The Royal Tenanbaums (2001)
96. Collateral (2004)
95. Liar Liar (1997)
94. Conspiracy Theory (1997)
93. The Game (1997)
92. Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (1986)
91. The Blues Brothers (1980)

A bit all over the place, in every sense of the word. Not all are favorites for some, but these are all movies I love. As you can see, Collateral ranked lower than some of the movies from 2004 that ranked lower in grades, but I felt this is more of my most rewatchable, most fun, and best of all movies I've ever seen. Obviously Collateral is a favorite, but a movie like Kill Bill Vol. 2, which ranked lower in my grade, will rank higher on my list here. So far, a few films from before 1990, which I feel good about. The Game and Conspiracy Theory are odd choices, but I remember loving both films. And, you can expect more from Tom Cruise later on.

90-81 later tonight.

Edit: Out goes A.I. into the honorable mentions (just to still get back at Zing's high grade of AvP) and in goes Finding Nemo.

Took you long enough.

Awesome on Royal Tenebaums, its on my top 100 as well, and i don't even have a Murray fetish, its just an excellent and ultimately kind of touching movie. Truman show was very good too, and if I remeber correctly, it was very well received here.

Blues Brothers Rules. Really, one of the funnest movies of all time and great music. The most famous car chase scenes, everything. There is nothing not to love about this movie. Plus I own the soundtrack, excellent pick,

Don't know how I feel about Conspiracy Theory and The Game...that's what you get for picking movies people actually know. You could avoid all criticism by just picking movies from early 30's germany or something. heh.

Hehe, yeah. I was considering choosing movies no one knows about, but I decided to compile a list for myself anyway. As for Conspiracy Theory and The Game... well... I may have to see them again. 8-[ They're so low on the list, because I remember loving them, but this was when they were out. So, I hope my opinion didn't change, or the list may suck royally (not that it already doesn't).

I'll probably speed things up, and go up to 70 or 60 tonight.

90. Jaws (1975)
89. The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997)
88. The Last Samurai (2003)
87. The Incredibles (2004)
86. The Terminator (1984)
85. Jumanji (1995)
84. Tommy Boy (1995)
83. Dumb and Dumber (1994)
82. The Cell (2000)
81. Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope (1977)

Three more before 1990! Not bad. Jaws is a tough choice. I wanted it higher, but I don't think it's very rewatchable (don't shoot me, Baumer!). And don't lynch me for choosing The Lost World. Tommy Boy deserves a spot (RIP Chris Farley) no matter what. And, the lowest graded Star Wars film (from the original trilogy) shows up at number 81.

80-71 will definitely be up tonight.

Edit: I've taken out Blair Witch (yes, I'm allowing myself to change the list... don't like it, go sue Bill Gates) and put in The Incredibles. Now my list feels better.

I don't want to be a b***h, but I am one, so whatever. This list of ten is terrible. The only one I liked was Terminator (Excellent movie, gets a bit of humor out of the I'll be back line, but its a very smart movie actually, and has great action).

Staw Wars of course is good.

But c'mon, anything with J.Lo in it is a big [-X She was ok in Selena and Out of Sight and it all went downhill from there. First Jurassic Park = Good, second Jurassic Park = Bad. Third Jurassic park = You gotta be kidding me.

Jumanji and Dumb & Dumber failed to impress. As did not Last Samurai.

Gimme the next ten please.

Great choices on the highlighted. I'm not too fond of A.I. I shouldn't even say that. I should say that I hate it to death. I really do. It's one of the worst movies I've ever seen in my life, and I never though I would say that about a Spielberg movie, but it's the truth. I found nothing about that fanscinating, and the only thing it did good was give me something to throw in the good ol' fireplace (not really, but you get the point...).

I've never seen The Truman Show or Tenanbaums. Conspiracy Theory was good, but not great. I need to watch The Game.

It's my list, and we know how screwed up I can be. Sorry about A.I., Zingy. I guess it's one of the few we don't agree on. You loved AvP, so we're even.

80. The Wizard of Oz (1939)
79. Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002)
78. Dogma (1999)
77. Mystic River (2003)
76. As Good As It Gets (1997)
75. The Ref (1994)
74. Scream (1996)
73. The Great Outdoors (1988)
72. Me, Myself and Irene (2000)
71. Wayne’s World 2 (1993)

Mike Myers shows up twice, here. I love the Wayne's World movies, so you can expect the first a bit higher up on my list. Goldmember is a no-brainer. I've watched it countless times already. The Ref is a Christmas classic. I have to include Christmas movies on this list, because it's just right. The Great Outdoors is an example of a film not entirely a masterpiece, but a film I can watch over and over, and still laugh without fail. Me, Myself and Irene may be a bit of an odd choice, but I liked it. Again, my list, don't get too hung up on my taste of in movies. If you don't like me, I doubt you'll like my list.

66. Mars Attacks! (1996)

62. Wayne’s World (1992)
61. Dawn of the Dead (2004)

*hears a chorus of boos* Hey hey hey! Come on, now. This is my list, live with it. It's easy to pick masterpieces and say they're your favorites. I'm going with some that most wouldn't dare name their top 100. Others would, and I'll go with them. Okay, Scary Movie and Austin Powers: funny as hell, I rest my case. Mars Attacks... I can hear a loud sound in the distance... sounds like screams... could be cheers. Willy Wonka = Childhood fun. That long-ass titled movie? Hard to explain. It's simply put one of the funniest movies I've ever seen, but because it's only the dialogue and music that is unique, it can't go any higher. Dawn of the Dead = Number 2 from a rather long list of 2004 movies in my Top 100.

That's it for tonight. You'll see 60-1 tomorrow, so don't worry. You'll have PLENTY of bashing material to use. If this were a magazine, you could use all of my list as toilet paper, I'm sure.

I would have called this an excellent list, but #87 killed it's chances. Blair Witch is in my top 10 worst movies ever. The Cell was also very disappointing.

 I know, I know. Calm down. 2 shit picks out of 30 ain't bad at all, is it? I reiterate my earlier point: you loved AvP, so we have to be even. Come to think of it, didn't you give a B to Napolean Dynamite? If so, you now owe me.

Whew! 2 out of 40 isn't bad. Umm... any other movies you loathe, before I continue? I would like to brace myself for tomorrow, when I post the rest.

How about I bring in one of my alternates to replace A.I.? It was close anyway... hmm... is that allowed? And don't worry, I'm not changing it JUST for you. I have about 10 alternates from just a quick list I made from past yearly charts and some movies I own.

EDIT: OH DEAR GOD. Someone must have thought it would be pretty funny to pull a fast one on ol' Mr. X and allow me to forget both Monsters Inc., Finding Nemo and The Incredibles. Can I edit my list? It's not the BIG final 100 anyway yet. Hell, 60 and up aren't even sorted yet. Argh...

Ack. Don't say that. I'll be going to 150 or 200. Then my list would lose its credibility... hey hey, what was that, Dolce?! Yeah yeah, I hear your snide remarks about my list.

Anyway, out goes A.I. and Blair Witch, per my own request along with some help from Zing, and in goes Pixar movies, Finding Nemo and The Incredibles. Expect Monsters Inc. later on the list.
