Post Women I'm in Love With: Episode 4- Audrey Hepburn
I'm making up for lost time, having skipped the last two days. Anyways, Audrey  a class act if there ever was one.

This Image is one of the best I have ever seen of any woman, ever:

Meh...for some reason i could never get into Audrey. To clean i guess, i dunno. I can distance myself and be critical of her face and realize how well formed it is, eyes, etc, but I just couldn't get into her aura..her style. who's next?

I love her

I kinda understand why someone else wouldn't, because I think she's a specific type.

I saw Roman Holiday for the first time about 3-4 months ago and I was absolutely smitten. She's....almost perfect.

indeed (good word aura), she is quirky, pretty. I adore her, and most of her work.

Very beautiful, but I agree, there was nothing about her personality from the parts she played that made me "fall in love" with her, unlike, say, Marilyn Monroe or Sophia Loren (to name two others from a similar time period).

I alwyas found her attractive, but not for me...like MIke said, I just never got into her, maybe b/c I am not a fan of Breakfast at Tiffany's (i lvoed teh book) but she as great in Sabrina, Charade, Roman Holiday.

She's not ugly, but she's got a pixie-like quality that does nothing for me.

And what's with the deer-caught-in-headlights look she's got in this pic:

For classic movie starlet beauty, you can't go wrong with Grace Kelly:

Snrub, I love Grace Kelly.

Its odd because I read somewhere that what "mankind" finds easthetically pleasing is symetry and proportion in the face. They did this breakdown of Lyle Lovett's face. And I can look at Audrey and totally see the symmetrry, the proportion of her eyes to the space under her cheek bones, her lips to her jaw, her nose, etc, and its still just doesn't do it for me even though ll those criticisms she holds up against beautifully. she was a good actress too, though i didn't much fancy any of her roles. Her personality seemed too constructed. Like My Fair Lady or something. That one pic of her when she's the younger is the best one because her disposition comes off completely different, its like she still had a raw quality to her.

Now Gong Li (y'all should go post in that thread...it has the least responses dammit) is a completely different story.

I'm more of a Isabella Rossellini fan myself. I love the pixie look so Audrey works for me too.

Grace Kelly's on the list too

Y'all stop guessing the upcoming hot ladies :-$

Lol, I think Audrey = classy; she was absolutely charming in Roman Holiday (among others). \:D/
