 bABA you soooo owe me copyright on my laugh! j/k But thanks for that compliment too.

Anywho...YES see be Cool, I cannot wait. And watch Get Shorty too, I've seen that one twice and it is excellent. I think dwayne is pretty decent of an actor if you ask me. plus I still associate this image of him that John Doe used to have as an avatar (coincidentally, I can't get it out of my Head that John is as well hulk-sized and has awfully similar facial characteristics as Dwayne. I wonder why?).

Its going to be alot of fun, I've already seen the trailer for it in theatres and very good pick.

I don't know about Constantin, I just saw the trailer today and :-k Never ceases to amaze me how Keanue is still in the business so big time. Not to be mean, he's done alright in some smaller roles, but he's just not so versatile an actor to be showcasing all these huge dark roles. everyone is just going to stare at him and be thinking Matrix all the time. It looks pretty weak for a horror.thriller imo.

Lets see...I am going to add a quick list of ten too as soon as i go check release dates.

Good reviews on all of them bABA. You always have a charismatic way of admitting certain things, so i can't even hold it to you when you can't wait for something even though you know its not going to be cream of the crop. You pre-emp condescencion.

Its better to diss your own opinions than have them dissed by someone else.

Thats my philosophy. That way, you can still think you're right and if others say something otherwise, they just sound like they're repeating someone else's words already. Stupid people.

haha...I thought the footage of Sin City that I saw was about as literal as it gets from the books.

I'm really interested in The Weatherman.

1. Gore Verbinski has been on a roll.
2. Nick Cage looks good here.
3. Cinematography looks really swell.
4. The funny/shocking last line in the trailer about "people don't throw things at me now that I carry a bow and arrows around with me" hints at something really interesting and hidden about the plot of the film.

Honestly out of these... I think only 'Robots' and 'Be Cool' sound any bit enticing. (already caught 'in good company')

The above list in some ways isn't even an anitipation list. Its the only movies i would CARE to see. Even valiant and weatherman i wouldn't lose sleep over if i didn't catch them.

Nothing all that great coming out this early on in the year.

This one is so going down in "the book." :)

Oh, weatherman...I actually want to see that too. I've already repeated my snow story ten times in this forum, so I'll spare y'all hearing it again. Anyhow, no great commentary like bABA, but I'm tossing my list up here too...

Moolaade (it had limited release but is more accessible now)
Born into Brothels (it had limited release but is more accessible now)
Hitch
Inside Deep Throat
Be Cool
Sin City (maybe, depedning on reviews. I like the cast, but that's about all I know)
The Weatherman
The Interpreter
A Tale of Two Sisters
Walk on Water
The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill

I'm straddeling the fence on Travelers and Magicians (need more reviews to come in, only 9 at rt right now).

Melinda and Melinda
The Ring Two

Fever Pitch
The Interpreter
Crash

w00t! I've already seen four on my list, not too shabby. Too bad only one of them broke into the A range with an A-. The other ones all dissappointed my varied expectations of them. Ah well, here's to the remainders:

Sin City
The Weatherman
The Interpreter
Walk on Water
Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill

I'm adding Beauty Shop
and definately Melinda & Melinda. $10 says Will Ferrel might get a supporting Oscar nod for it next year.

I think SIsters is a horror that's already on dvd or something and I just got confused, because several people have already seen it. :-k

I've lost my desire to see Brothels.

bABA
Libs, how are you guys going on your lists? Anyone else?
