Once with the theatrical movie, and once with the director's cut. =D>
Did the Director's Cut of DAREDEVIL Really do any better than the regular version??? I think ELEKTRA was one of these movies that should've went straight to Video like I suggested some time back... It'll make some kind of profit even like Catwoman will(Hard to Believe ).. I think AVP is gonna do well to, but FOX is double dipping with this movie cause now I read where there will be an AVP EXTREME EDITION in March or April with 11 Deleted scenes as opposed to the 3 Deleted Scenes you get now.. Boy FOX certainly knows how to make $$$ now huh???

Bkb and Mav. Its funny you brought up the daredevil director's cut dvd. My next article for this site will briefly be mentioning it. Apparently, the director's cut was a huuuge improvement from what i've heard from people over the theatrical version of it

I would say that the theatrical did better, as they always do. AVP has a new edition coming out two? Goddamn that George Lucas!!! It's all his fault!

Mav. You're gonna hear me say this only once. Its Peter Jackson's fault. It really is. He did his movies right but he inspired something in the industry i'm starting to hate.

If you need to know anything about it, just ask. It cut out the love scene, which I wish it didn't, because I thought it was true to his character to put his crime fighting aside so he could bang the girl. :2up: The rest of it is much better , as far character depth goes. There is a lot more story, as Matt and Foggy work on a case that's tied into the Kingpin. It ties everything together much better.

haha...he definitely got the ball rolling in a high profile way, and every other studio has picked up on it and are now exploiting it for all they can. In truth, and in defense of Jackson, there have been director's cuts before this. The first that I remember seeing in home video was Ridley Scott's Blade Runner. It just wasn't a common practice like it is now, due to the success of the LOTR EE DVDs that PJ and New Line decided to do.

I gave BKB the link about his precious last week. As always, he screws up the facts. =D>
A two disc set is being released in the UK in March. No release date has been scheduled for the US but usually North America follows within a few months.

I think a good barometer for Superman lies with the success of Spiderman 2 (and not the freakish 9/11 run of Spidey 1).
Only in terms of comic book fans can you compare Batman and Supes. I think more families would see the new Supes film vs the number that will attend Batman Begins.
I do think, of course, that the success of Batman Begins is tied into whether or not WB and Wolfgang Peterson get Superman Vs Batman into theaters.

BKB, you need to do a little more research before creating these threads. OK STOP!!! =; NO, I don't need to do more Goddamn research on this subject cause I'm telling you and telling everyone here that a very large majority of the moviegoing audience that doesn't surf nerd websites and forums like this are NOT ready for someone to step in and take Christopher Reeve's shoes, the audience 30 and older who grew up back when this movie came out and I'm sorry but it's true... As a matter of fact, I'm not so certain they'll be ready for this character and someone else to take Reeve's place for a long time to come, at least 10 years I'd say.. It is wayyyy too soon for this and I'm telling you, it's a BOMB in the making.....
Um....no. That really has to be one of the most....horrible arguments I have ever heard. To soon? I doubt people will really care if another character is playing superman...seriously. Where do you get this shit?! lol

Where do I get this shit?? It's called COMMON SENSE you Bone smoking clown.. ](*,) Ask ANYONE outside your age bracket and outside the internet world, the REAL world, that doesn't surf movie websites and Geek Forums like this about whether they'd welcome another SUPERMAN movie so soon after Reeve's death and they'll tell you "No" and that no matter who that got to play the character, they would be tremendous shoes to fill and would probably hurt the movie as a result cause people aren't ready to let that go, unlike Knuckleheads like yourself that don't give a fuck to start with whether Reeve's is dead or not.. For you, as long as they put out another SUPERMAN movie, your fine with it, but not everyone is willing to share your "I don't give a fuck" sentiments you Buffoon.. :-#
