... Uh...

Well, us Filipinos eat pork in a pork blood sauce, squid, oxtail with peanut butter sauce and other stuff that sounds really gross... But is actually quite tasty. Nothing outrageous though.

In China, I ate Scorpions on a stick
For the equivalent of one U.S. dollar, you get four scorpions, which are skewered and fried for about 30 seconds.
They weren't as bad they looked, but mine had a little too much salt on them (There I was eating fried arachnids and the part that tasted bad was the salt  )

Cow Tongue
Goat Eyeballs
Egg Plant
Octopus

These were all very nasty, especially the goat eyeballs, and octopus. I'm just very open-minded when it comes to trying new foods. I will try anything once, but if I don't like it that is it. I doubt I will try any of these foods ever again.

Believe it or not, cow tongue is actually quite common of a delicatessen, its graced my brunch table many a time. i don't like it, pretty much cause its too fatty, but my parents love it. Octopus is pretty normal too. Eggplant? You consider that weird? Oh dear, don't go anywhere near middle eastern cuisine ok?

Yeah, but the eyeballs...the only ones I've come across i've had to dissect in highschool.

Define weird before I answer this? Also, there are a couple comments I'm surprised haven't popped up yet.

Neo? Are you Portugese? I used to live near the Portugese neighborhood in Boston and the bakery I worked at everyone was. One of the other employees, we shared lunches and would bring in respective food. I made pastas (because its the only thing I know how to cook) and she would just bring in alot of stuff. i didn't ask questions...but it was interesting and tasty.

Something I ate whilst in Japan! I dare not ask what it was, suffice to say that I became much more refined at selecting my meals from picture menu's after that.

Yes I am :) Portuguese cuisine is very different though depending on the region. Like the north is the weirdest part bc we're more rural and conserve every part of an animal.

We have amazing pastries though :D
