Re: Yahoo Review Thread - Indiana Jones 4
2054 reviews. Added about 200 reviews. 4 hours left.
It will get over 2500 reviews.
80-ish ratio. About $32 mil.
It's staying in line with early projections, has a chance at getting $35 mil.

2 hours: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - 2255 (679), +369 (+105), B That pace is quickening. With three more updates, it should pass 2500 reviews fairly easily.

Positive* Jon wrote: Iron Man had a 70 ratio, and this appears to have a lot of fake reviews, so a ratio close to say, 90 sounds about right. My thinking too; the percentage of written reviews appears high. Just can't see a reason why the ratio would be lower. Look like a $28-30m opening day.

Re: Yahoo Review Thread - Indiana Jones 4
And I like how Yahoo has performed this past month; look like we're getting a hold of it again, although the range of ratios has changed. Today it probably gave the earliest indication that Indy isn't hitting $40m at least.

Woe, i cant take yahoo ratings seriously, just look at some of the films in that list of top rated. Coach Carter? Tyler Perry's films!?!? The system is hacked? They weren't there the last time I checked it (maybe a month ago?). Do not hate on Tyler Perry because people love his films. Tyler make movies for his fans and that is why his movies always open to big numbers. His next film film that comes out in september will most likely get an A on yahoo adwell. His fans love his film. Maybe if INDY 4 did not have all that Sci fi crap fans would not have been so Disappointed. Hateing on somebody else work because INDY 4 did not get the love people was hoping for is pretty immature. Indy 4 was good, it just did live up to the hype.Oh, really? Hahah glad to hear it. Thanks, I'm even more excited now, "filmboy."

A B- is really bad for this film. I didn't think the WOM was toxic.

Is the ratio going to be similar at all? Would there be less of an effect of fake voting?

Re: Yahoo Review Thread - Indiana Jones 4
It had 1185 (386 written) at the same point yesterday, so doesn't appear a big Friday increase is in play. I don't expect the ratio to be that different, with spilled-over reviews from yesterday offsetting the first day rush.

It'll surely see much more business at night then it did yesterday.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - 3997 (1261), 1473 (459) Friday, +206 (+55), B- Still not picking up the pace yet. Not feeling a $30m Friday, at least of now.

Remember, Jones was on Yahoo's main page yesterday talking about its B- grade, inflating the amount of reviews yesterday.

Re: Yahoo Review Thread - Indiana Jones 4
http://news.fantasymoguls.com/originalc ... index.htmlFRIDAY 6:00 p.m. (Pacific): All signs are pointing to a healthy surge in business for Indiana Jones & The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (Paramount). After posting $25M on Thursday (including Wednesday night midnight screenings), I am hearing that business could be up as much as 20% day-over-day. That would push the Steven Spielberg/George Lucas collaboration to $30M+ for the day, and it will mean that the movie is less front-loaded than expected. Please note that this is early info and is subject to change, but I know that people are hungry for the information. __________________________________________________________________________________ He was pretty spot on with his early 26mill tracking for thursday, so Indy could be headed to 30mill friday.

Re: Yahoo Review Thread - Indiana Jones 4
Why is the grade so low? Is it a crap load of fake reviews? Both of my audiences suggest a B+. And my audience reactions are pretty much spot on with yahoo grade.

Just look at the top rated films in yahoo history. According to Yahoo user ratings, Tyler Perry is the greatest living director.

Re: Yahoo Review Thread - Indiana Jones 4
I dont think so now, mason said +20% day-over-day, he belives 30mill, but that day-today line leads me to believe without midnights.I say it stays flat at 25mill.

Again, I'm pretty confident it's THUR-SAT will be almost identical. All 25-30 days.
