That score is troubling.

Not to much when you look at how people grade it. They like music, like acting, like action but then they give F overall. There is something wrong with the logic there.

I noticed the same thing. It's the die hards rating the movie bad because of
the sci-fi element to it, regardless of it's other merits. Idiots. I loved it.

When i posted my review when i came back from the midnight screening, I read a user review that said, Ford is still good, some fun action and the set pieces are great, but he found it a bit dissapointing at the end with the aliens and proceded to give it an F.

Yeah, if it doesnt hit 30, or just barely does, dont FREAK! This is Memorial Day Weekend (or about to be). It's gross will be spread out more than a typical weekend.

Do not hate on Tyler Perry because people love his films. Tyler make movies for his fans and that is why his movies always open to big numbers. His next film film that comes out in september will most likely get an A on yahoo adwell. His fans love his film. Maybe if INDY 4 did not have all that Sci fi crap fans would not have been so Disappointed. Hateing on somebody else work because INDY 4 did not get the love people was hoping for is pretty immature. Indy 4 was good, it just did live up to the hype.

Doesn't seem good for Indy...not with the hype and tracking and everything seemed to be in its favour..

I'm really not worried. This is a different type of blockbuster than the superhero/Pirates garbage we usually deal with. And it's midnights were on a weeknight. While kids were still in school.

There is NO reason ANY of his movies should be in the Top 100. Whether or not he made them for his "fans", I can name HUNDREDS of movies that are miles and away better than his movies.

It'll need a 70 ratio to get $35m. I don't see a ratio that low (but then again, I'm out of the Yahoo reviews thread loop, I guess ratios have gotten lower?). Actually doing the calculation now, I think it's heading for about $30m opening day ($4.5m from midnight). And that's being a bit optimistic. It could be in the $26-28m range, in my opinion. It's nothing to panic about, really - it's just going to be more spread out through the five days than anyone thought, I think.

A day 2 increase for a big film like this would actually be kind of cool to see.

70 would be the absolute lowest ratio. And I was basing it on if it made it to 2500 reviews. It may not make it, which would lower the OD to right around $32 mil including midnights.

Iron Man had a 70 ratio, and this appears to have a lot of fake reviews, so a ratio close to say, 90 sounds about right. Very few films (Especially event ones like this) get a ratio over 100 nowadays.
