What films have you seen/not seen of the nominees
I still need to see:
Closer
Being Julia
Kinsey
Shark Tale
Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events
The Phantom of the Opera
A Very Long Engagement
Vera Drake
The Sea Inside
The Motorcycle Diaries
The Polar Express
(all docus and short films except Super Size Me)
(all foreign films)
I plead exempt from Being Julia, Vera Drake and The Sea Inside, which have been hard to track down. I have no excuse for Closer, Kinsey or Motorcycle Diaries.

I'll definately see all the foreign and docs when they come out on DVD (except maybe Tupac, just not my thing).
Motorcycle Diaries will be out on DVD before the Oscars. So that's good. As will Shark Tale.
I guess I will go see Closer and maybe Phantom this weekend.

Okay....
Don't count any of the documentaries and shorts....
I have not seen...
Shark Tale
I, Robot
The Polar Express
that's about it. I have seen ALL the other films.
As for Best Foreign...
I have seen The Sea Inside and plan on seeing The Chorus (also nominated for best song) but nothing else. In fact I don't think any of those were released here in the US more than the one week requirement, were they?
