I'm fine with Goldie and honestly have thought that this problem wouldn't have been nearly as big if he wasn't gang raped every time he tried to contribute. He's quite harmless.

I would normally agree with the perma-ban, but at this point he'll be back no matter what we do, so there's no point really. Unless he starts being annoying and going crazy with the polls, then we can ban him and make him go back to a more tolerable "disguised" personality again. His Grill persona has been ok so far though, so I say just leave it alone till he goes over the line.

And honestly, for now, I don't see anyone handling the issue in any way, so I will feel free to make my input as I like. Frankly, I have never been too insistent on any stance so far, ecept the that Goldie is very likely a mentally ill person (or he's just having a ball with us). I gave you no reason to believe that I am going overboard with this as the discussion hasn't even left this very thread yet and even herein Ipost rather sporadically. You're entitled to your opinion, and I know how you feel on the issue. This site has three owners, and we disagree regarding this issue, so until we can all get together and talk, we're in a holding pattern.

Maybe stubborn is a good word for what I'm being, but I created this forum, started this site, and have a general principle that I would like followed. That's all it is. You're a user, like everyone else, and while I respect your opinion and take note of it, the decision on this matter is not yours. Arsi, Loyal and I will discuss and come to a conclusion with regard to this perma ban issue, that's all it is.

Your opinion goes overboard. And 'tis condescending. Nothing I can add to that either. I have never been incessant over this matter because frankly Shack is right to an extent. He'll always be back anyway (though I am also with Loyal on this that perma is perma). Thus I think I've been very calm over the issue overall, just making sure everyone knew he actually is Goldie (I mean wasn't I pretty much the first one to point it out after he has made like three posts)?. Therefore, you saying that I am going overboard, whereas I am not (considering I haven't even made more than 5-6 posts on the whole matter and those just in this thread) is akward. Try to see it from my viewpoint. What he's saying, Lecter, is that it's his site, and he'll do whatever he wants to concerning Goldie or anything else. If it was your site or you were an admin, you'd have a vote, but you are not, so you don't.

Harsh or not, that's reality. If it was your site, wouldn't you feel the same way?

That doesn't mean you don't have choices, as well. You can choose not to post here or not to contribute here and to subtlely do things to make Karl look like an ass whenever you can, but at the end of the day, his name is on the deed.

It was never meant to be harsh, the whole situation is frustrating to me for reasons that have nothing to do with Goldie, and maybe you received some of the brunt of that frustration because you have been vocal about your position.

So I'm sorry if you took it as harsher than I intended. I really just wanted you to let us handle it, and it was never intended to be condescending, hurtful, or anything similar. Trust me, as frustrated as you are, I'm about 100x moreso for various reason going far beyond anything related to Goldie. This issue just happens to hit at the center of an ongoing problem.

So again, apologies if I offended you, that was never my intent.

Anyway, I see that the thread was locked and that is OK

if that is what you want to do. I would only like to explain that the first 3 posts were responses to others that I didn't answer before. ( Please note there were about 5 others like this in there that I could also have done but that wasn't my purpose. )

And then the next 5 were done over a 12 hour period, some were quality pieces that I found while surfing other movie sections and 1/2 were breakdowns of what happen in the thread. ( Since I set up a complex poll that already confused someone, I needed to break down the answer. > More people picked Batman as a higher and lower priority. )

And they all were done in the same thread as the all were tied to that subject, summer movies, and since I was told that there couldn't be any more threads, all information had to be in that one thread.

Lastly, I will add that even though there were no posts, people were posting votes so it wasn't an inactive thread.
