Re: Yahoo Review Thread - Dec 21 releases
Possibility of not one but two, maybe three disappointments in P.S. I Love You, Walk Hard, and Charlie's Wilson's War?

MadGez wrote: Any idea where these films are heading for OD? If Xia's ratio projection is accurate (and none of the films see abnormal night activity), it would look something like this:
National Treasure 2 - 12/13 Sweeney Todd - 6/7 PS I Love You - 3 Charlie Wilson's War - 3 Walk Hard - 2

Re: Yahoo Review Thread - Dec 21 releases
So look like $13m for National Treasure, $5-6m for Sweeney Todd, $2m for Walk Hard, $3m for P.S. I Love You, and $2.5m for Charlie Wilson's War.

Re: Yahoo Review Thread - Dec 21 releases
That's mildly surprising, to see PS I Love You performing on par with Charlie Wilson and Walk Hard, as I'm assuming that PS will play a little stronger over the course of the weekend. It could be looking at a 9-10 million dollar 3 day, with the holiday in front of it. Many thought it would outright tank.
All three of these openers (PS, Charlie, Walk Hard) are going to have to hope for a solid turnout during the next 10 days for anything other than outright disappointment, what with these opening numbers.
Sweeney looks like the real deal.

Re: Yahoo Review Thread - Dec 21 releases
I was expecting closer to $20 OD for NT2...
But I'm gonna nail WH/CWW/PS... and be a tad low on Sweeney.

Yahoo! didn't work at all this weekend.
