I'm going to write a book or freelance a series of articles about it too. Just making sure, I am counting on you to be the one person who has a surprise thread that amounts to something, so there better be a damn movie.

About 500-600 people complete the Appalachian trail each year, which is said to be about 30% of the people who start it. They don't list stats for how many people talk about hiking the trail, and never even start it, though I have known many of this latter kind of Appalachian trail "hiker" - - it's always going to be next year. It's a lot bigger challenge than most people realize.

Part of the condition was for you not to respond to my posts. Let sleeping dogs lie. Just stating the facts, dog.
