Homosexual/phobic discussion. Things that need to be said.
Hello everybody. I wanted to start this thread just to state a few things, basically to say that im not what you think, and presumably you think is that i am a homophobe. This is not a thread for people to be bashed, this is for intelligent conversation (which would appear to be a joke in itself, coming from me), as was the last one, but shit happens.
I am not going to apoligise for my views in that thread, they were what they were and that is how they will remain (you will see later on). The only person that i have apoligised to is Zach, and that is because i insulted him personally, which i apoligise for.
I have been going through the thread where this was brought up, and i am basically clearing up a few things. So, firstly i did not set out to offend anybody, i am just a little volatile or extreme when it comes to things, i sometimes like to see how far i can go, which is of course a bad way to approach things to begin with, especially a sensitive matter like this.
--
The argument of me hating gays was a shambles to begin with, i do not hate gays. I stated one aspect of there personality that irritates me, not all homosexuals are even like this, just a few, and this is what i meant:
Some gays, when things aren't going well for them (the same with ethnic minorities), through no fault of there own, begin to blame the misfortune on there sexuality, rather than confronting the issue with a neutral mind, as they want people to do towards them and there sexuality.
That is hypocritical to me. If you want people to treat you with a neutral mind, not prejudicing them because of there sexuality, yet when something is not right in there life (again, its only a small percentage of gays) they blame it on the one thing that they are making clear is "normal" (ie, being homosexual).
Most people do it, i am not picking on only homosexuals, just, the conversation was about homosexuals, so i brought it up. By the way, this is not a reason "for hating gay people", if that was what people thought, then i was misunderstood, it was merely a point i have picked up on. If i ever said that it was a "reason", im quite sure i never, but if i did, then dont listen to that, and listen to this.
This is from my experiences in life, if it is different to yours, then you must understand that all people have different views on things.
--
The concentration camp issue, woah, that was a huge argument, which i may not be able to talk about, but ill try. Firstly, ill state what i exactly said:
I think we should round up all the gays, put them in camps and burn them to death (neostorm)
Ive thought about that before neostorm, but then thought about the "good" gays, then decided it wouldnt be a good idea. (Algren)
....This was the epitomy of me trying to be clever and "different", well, my rebelling against modern culture didnt pay off, it was immature and lacking intelligence. I later confirmed what "id like to do", but i do not mean that, i do not want homosexuals to be sent to a concentration camp to be burned to death, that is ludicrous for a start and totally unacceptable coming from someone in my position.
--
Mike Ventrella brought this up:
I don't like annoying gays either. For that matter, I don't like annoying straights, or annoying Lithuanians or annoying fanboys.
Why not just say you don't like annoying people? Why do you feel the need to single out gays? (Mike)
That is a good point Mike, but we were on the subject of homosexuality, and i thought it was relevant to the conversation. Of course i couldnt just say i dont like annoying people, it wouldnt have fit into the conversation, also, i dislike annoying people for different things, and like i said, listing them all, wouldnt be relevant to the thread at the time.
To make my point valid to the conversation i had to single out homosexuals, in order to validate my earlier misconstrewed point of disliking gays.
--
The "lesbian hot, gays not" issue is the only one i cannot think why i approve of, well, obviously i am heterosexual, therefore women are perceived as "hot" to me, and them having sex is also "hot". I am not homosexual, so any attempt to enter a male into the equation isnt going to make me happy. Simple i suppose, but thats the way it is.
--
I said this:
Well imo, if you're gay, you must just be seriously ill or just fucked up. (Algren)
Yes, this is wrong and absolutely absurd, i knew this now and at the time, this is another example of my extremely profound intrigue to see how far i can go. I am heterosexual, therefore anybody that is different to me, is not "abnormal" or "fucked up", they are merely what they are and nothing else. I, myself cannot see how men can find other men attractive, i may never know, so that is another side to my hostility towards gays, i am not bashing them, but saying that i do not understand certain things that people do or wish to do.
------------------
All the stuff i said in the "controversial thread" has made me realise one thing, that you lot at KJ dont let others have extreme views, i noticed that not one of you said "thats your view, fair enough", you all proceeded to argue with me. This was, fortunately, not my proper view, but it is interesting to analyse things in hindsight. Another thing that striked me strange is, if i was gay, but still said those things, i wonder how you would have reacted.
I am here to learn as well, i am only 19, i dont think i am naive nor unintelligent for my age, but maybe i will learn to change my views. I hope so but i do not know what the future holds...
If you have any questions or i havent explained something thoroughly enough, please dont hesitate to ask them here.
Thankyou, Blaine.

I cannot believe this came from the same person who posted
"HAHAHAHA i dont need to read your review, that grade alone will get me to the cinema to se how bad it is, they could have used a better looking Elektra, Garner is disgusting!!!!"
Seriously, who hit you with the Maturity stick? The first post of yours ive ever read thats made me ashamed to under-estimate someone so much. Why hide all this intelligence with a thick layer of bull?
If you post like this all the time - im thinking you'll get a hell of a lot more respect for your opinions.

Really, this thread wasn't even needed cause all you had to say was is that you don't hate Homosexuals in themselves, just the practice of it, not the individuals and leave it at that.. If anyone can't handle that or understand that, then too bad for them I guess and perhaps as I've said countless times to Baba, this subject shouldn't be discussed around here cause too many folks around here are too hypersensitive over the subject and can't bare constructive criticism over it for the people that don't appreciate it..

One picture? Did you search that by yourself, or did you have it saved? Either way, it makes me question you. Tisk tisk. If you searched it, you must have come across other pictures. Post those, then! And if it was saved, why was it saved? Hmm? Answers, Rusty. We need some answers.

I just don't find her that attractive. I just don't see what everyone see's. I really don't care if you like her but to me she still looks like Patrick Swayze.
