See, words like the "f" word, or the "n" word etc. are only offensive if you let them be. If someone has to resort to name calling a) they've already lost the argument and b) they've lost my respect (though usually that happens long before hand).

I noticed an interesting trend especially among usage of the "n" word during one of my research projects last year in that people will say it is offensive but they really don't know "why", they can't tell me why they would be offended if I went up to them and said "hey, n-----" in a purely non-threatening manner such as they do. It is a social construct. So is the "f" word as being offensive.

Like, i can call people fags because im half fag. I don't because i think it's a really brutal word, but I can get away with it because in theory there is a chance someone could call me fag in a derogatory sense and it would be partially true and therefore an attack on my character.

a) People who say "n" word and "f" word need to be told that the word is Fag and Nigger. N and F word is very stupid.

b) Just because you're something doesn't give you the right to use it and then stop everyone else from using it cause you find it offensive. Either you find it offensive or you dont. Don't try to have it both ways.
