 Re: 30 Days of Night
I borrowed this from a friend of mine the other day and after viewing it, I gave this a grade of "B".. Plenty of carnage after about 20 minutes of setting it up and the premise was unique.. The vampire looks were alright, nothing to write home about, but it did hold my attention and that alone was worthy of the grade I gave it.. I suppose it was better than most vampire movies that have been released.. I suppose at some point, Hollywood will do the unthinkable and make a sequel to it perhaps??

I actualy think that this is one of the best vampire film made, and Ben Foster stole the show as he always does

 Re: 30 Days of Night
What a weird movie.
This movie's timeline was ridiculous. Revelations that should have taken days took minutes. The vampires were completely undeveloped, and not nearly scary enough. When they are in the background its ok, but when they are just standing there its many times laughable.
The characters were silly and beyond cliche. The only real aspiring moment was the end and Hartnett's injection, but that was ruined by a lame fight that ended so oddly I just laughed. They really don't make good vampire films anymore. The last good ones were From Dusk til Dawn John Carpenters Vampires, and Blade if you count that.

 Re: 30 Days of Night
I was pretty surprised by this one. I was entertained the whole time and wasn't bored at all. Hartnett was ok, should have done better though. The opening attack was brilliant. B
