 WALL•E Predictions
Somehow I can't find a prediction thread for this, so I'm creating one.
Anyway, I know people keep saying this isn't mainstream because so much of the film has minimal dialogue, but the thing is few people will actually know this, because the film is being sold largely on WALL-E cuteness, and that's a damn good thing to sell a movie on. The only major animated film this summer is Kung Fu Panda, a film with little buzz right now, so there won't be that much competition for buzz among kids, especially as much as Ratatouille faced last year with Shrek and Harry Potter. At the moment, a gross between The Incredibles and Finding Nemo sounds good.
Opening: $66.2 million Total: $275.7 million (4.17)

This could go anywhere from being Pixar's smallest to Pixar's biggest. I have no fucking clue.

 Re: WALL•E Predictions
Well that's True Shrek was a Green Monster however Shrek was a Kids Movie. The Hulk will be PG-13 where Wall-E will be Rated G or PG.

 Re: WALL•E Predictions
Hulk will have about as much effect on Wall-E as a bear shitting in the woods does.

I just feel Horton has a lot more going for it. - Dr. Seuss' name. -Completely empty marketplace. Additionally, it's the first kids flick in ages. -Good reviews and the big voice cast - It actually looks great. On the other hand... -Since The Incredibles, each Pixar film has opened than the one before it. I don't know why that would change now. - I don't think a film whose first 40 minutes are dialog-free would be a big hit among kids. - Tons of competition before and after its release. - We all know what happened to the last CGI film about robots.
