Post Anybody own or run a business?
I've got a little school project to do where I have to interview an entreprenuer. I was wondering if any of you owned your own business and might be willing to answer eight questions. If possible, that'd be fantastic!!!

My questions:
What credentials are required to run this type of business?
What personal attributes/strengths are required for this endeavor?
What experience is required to take on this business?
What activities are done by this person on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis?
What is the one issue that was most difficult in getting the business running?
What is the most rewarding part of owning/running the business?
What kind of marketing do you like to use best?
How do you see your business growing in the next five years?

Sheesh, you should be aiming higher, MG! For example, most email addresses are firstname.surname@companyemail.com/org

Find out the name of the guy who runs NBC or Fox (or all of them, in fact), go to the company website's "contact us" page and look for the second half of the email address. Combine the two, politely send them the questions and hope that one of them will bother getting back to you.

Think of the grade you'll get!

Haha you may be right, but I actually have put this off for awhile now. I've already done 2 interviews, just need one more for my class at 6:30...

Ah, that explains why you're here.

In which case, Groucho's Porn is probably your best bet.

Can't even count how many times I've heard that second sentence.

Law practice, porno franchise, same thing...

What credentials are required to run this type of business? A law degree.

What personal attributes/strengths are required for this endeavor? Meticulous bookkeeping for the business part of it. I hate that. For the law part, confidence, the ability to speak and write well, and a lot of time spent doing research.

What experience is required to take on this business? A law degree.

What activities are done by this person on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis? Trials, briefs, hearings, etc..

What is the one issue that was most difficult in getting the business running? Learning how to take care of the business end as opposed to the law end. I took over a practice of a retiring attorney, so it was a lot easier than starting from scratch.

What is the most rewarding part of owning/running the business? Making lots more money. Although really my job has always given me a lot of freedom, even when I was a public defender working for someone else.

What kind of marketing do you like to use best? Web page, phone book.

How do you see your business growing in the next five years? I certainly hope so.

Groucho, wow, thank you so much. I actually didn't know you ran your own law firm, instead of just being a lawyer, but I guess that makes sense now. That is most impressive. You're covering two huge fields, and it sounds like you're doing it pretty successfully too. Thank you again!!

Groucho's a king among men.

I only wish he really did do porn. By which, of course, I mean I wish he produced or directed it. Not starred in it or anything. Which isn't to say an extended cameo wouldn't be welcome...

In my pants.

That would be a great job, wouldn't it? Take on some fake porno director name, write the scripts, test out the girls beforehand, make a lot more money than any porno actor...

And any cameo I did would have to be extended, if you know what I mean.
