Obviously kidding, but with the obligatory Jennifer Garner reference now well out of the way lets get down to business!
Usually all eyes are on Best Actress at awards ceremonies, but in the awards slew of this year, supporting actress is even more exciting than the leading role. Why? Well aside from the shock exclusion of Cate Blanchett, we have a veritable who's who of the best supporting performances across genre and style.
Romalo Garai's Atonement nomination is a testament to KJs nature of supporting the underdog after being largely ignored by the awards circuit despite a splendid performance, and youngster Saoirse Ronan ias joining Garai on the Atonement wagon for this category.
Even more of a testament to KJ's ability to spot a winning performance despite genre and success is Leslie Mann's knocked up nod. Her cracking performance in the smash hit left lead star Katherine Heigl in her shadow.
Of course theres the fantastic Amy Ryan squeezing yet another awards nomination out of the awards circuit with her Gone Baby Gone role. Ben Affleck's little film that could has turned out to be Ryan's wisest choice yet, with more people backing her for Oscar glory now than even heavyweight Cate Blanchett.
And how could I forget Jennifer Garner, in a role which has finally allowed her to cross over from butt-kicking tv actress to bona-fide thespian, Juno gave Garner the recognition she needed to show she's more than just a very very very pretty horseface. No celebrity has polarized KJ like Jennifer Garner has, largely my fault, but hey.
So there you have it, our nominees all have their own sexy sexy merits...now to the winner!
