3. Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before ChristmasPretty sure everyone at least like this one, but I'm not one of those fools because I LOVE it. More than I love my sister. Well, totally different subjets here. My SECOND favorite movie growing up.

2. The Little MermaidMy all time favorite movie growing up. Ursula is my favorite Disney Villian of all time, she was/is so cool! Under the Sea is my favorite Disney Song of all time. And being underwater gives in an extra boost (even though it doesnt need it). Because just like with Finding Nemo being my favorite Pixar film, one of the reasons is the setting. So without the setting of the Little Mermaid, there'd be no Ursula or Under the Sea! So it's perfect. It'll always remain part of my world. And it remained my No.1 film ever until quite recently, about 5 or 6 hours ago in fact.

Little Mermaid. Ariel was sooo adorable.
8/9, and now that Little Mermaid is #2 I know what your #1 movie is, so pre-emptive 9/10!
Should have gotten Moulin Rouge, though!!

 Re: KJ User's Top 100 Lists Vol.2 - Corpse
1. Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet StreetFINALLY got to see this earlier this evening. I was anticipating on it being my favorite movie of all time, and it now is. It was almost impossible not to become my No.1 film. My favorite director, my favorite cast members (Depp, Bonham Carter, Rickman), genre, etc. If you take everyone in Hollywood and make your dream film, Sweeney Todd is as close as I could get to making mine. Depp and Bonham Carter delieved as perfect leads in everyway. And the supporting actors, Alan Rickman (Judge Turpin), Ed Sanders (Toby), and Anthony (no idea his real name...) are also great. Especially Ed Sanders as Toby. I'd rank him above Alan Rickman, and hopefully we see more of him. But before this turns into a review, I'll end this. The Oscars snubbed Pan's Labyrinth last year, and now they go and snub Sweeney Todd. Quite terrible.

And when I say snubbed, I mean no BP nods.

 Re: KJ User's Top 100 Lists Vol.2 - Corpse
I wasn't going into Sweeney Todd with your expectations. When I came out of there I was shocked. Absolutely shocked at how much I loved it. And I loved it just as much on the 2nd viewing.
Burton has made some movies that I really hate. And I have a general distaste for musicals. Not exactly sure what about Sweeney I loved so much, but it all clicked. Maybe it's the fact that they didn't break out into spontaneous choreographed dance moves. But I loved the music and loved the style and enjoyed the story.
I never expected it to overtake Ratatouille as my #1 movie of 2007, but it did, and consequently vaulted itself into my top 10 all time.

2001 wrote: Where's A CLockwork Orange?! I thought it was one of your aLL-time favs if I rememeber in the other threads. DAMMIT! I was afraid I'd miss something big. When I made my list I went through each year of film, beginning with 1960 to now. Because there were very few before than that I've seen. When I was going through the years, Wiki apparently doesn't list every release that year (just the top grossing and wide release films) so I guess I overlooked it or Wiki didn't list it and I didn't think of it. I almost forgot about Pan's Labyrinth too until I was almost finished with making my list. A Clockwork Orange would be...28. Just bump everything before that back a spot. And Star Wars off, again. Sorry Squee.

Ed Wood was 52, actually 53 now. I just couldn't help but to include all the Disney Classics (most of them) in the top 50, so it didn't make my Top 50. And I like them more, so... Ed Wood is actually near the bottom half of my favorite Burton films. Above Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Planet of the Apes, Mars Attacks!, and Pee Wee though. And the Bats
