Re: Valentines Day This will be my very first Valentine's Day with my girlfriend and thank god she doesnt want to do anything. I think will go have a nice picnic at the park on satuday, we turn 5 months that day.
I got her a build a bear. Cute stuff.

Re: Valentines Day I'll try to pretend this is a day like any other, and one day closer to the big weekend. That usually works at least for a couple of hours. Maybe some drinking later solves the problem.

Re: Valentines Day Valentines day is a good day for me. It reminds me that im single through choice, and therefore makes me feel superior to all the couples around me i know are together because they "settled". It's also great because lots of people split up around this time of year and i relish in their anguish.

Re: Valentines Day I don't really care about the Valentine's Day thing, although having someone to spend the day with would be nice. BUT. Today is actually the day from hell. It's like what Friday the 13th (the day, not the movie) should be, if Friday the 13th wasn't complete bullshit.

That said, this is our third Valentines Day, and I've got her something small for all of them. Yeah thats unfair to singles because you cant order what you want and have to pay more. It was $100 a head last night  but thankfully the food was great - 3 courses and 6 glasses of wine + sides so it was quite good - plus it was a window seat so we had a nice view of the sun setting over the sea _________________

Re: Valentines Day Ugh. I hate the day, but at least it's better than working on the day (like last year, at the theatre, when Music & Lyrics came out, gag me)..
Went to school half day, and then just came back from coffee with a few of my single best friends, kind of a routine. It was nice. Other than that, it just a day like every other.
