It's really an amazing year and a lot of difficult choices, much better than last year, I have to say.

Most Overlooked: SUNSHINE

It got a much-deserved FX nom but it merits more recognition!

Most Overlooked - Bug

or Stardust, which will win anyway. But Bug didn't even crack the "honorable mentions" for ANY category...

God, I'm not sure what overlooked group I shall join.

My most overlooked votes are Sunshine, Gone Baby Gone, The Lookout and Stardust. I want to vote for whichever gets the most support anyway, just to ensure that the choice gets in. All four deserve it IMO. Hmm.....

Oh, and Most Overlooked. Still going with it? What are the parameters?

Thanks guys. :)

Only movies whose title start with "Across" and end in "Universe" is eligible for Most Overlooked. =P

I agree! It couldn't even get Art Direction? Visual Effects? What is the matter with people? :P It got my 5 pointer.

I'm surprised and disappointed that "Baby, Don't You Cry" from WAITRESS didn't manage to score a nomination for Best Original Song.

Anyway, ACROSS THE FUCKING UNIVERSE for Most Overlooked! I enjoyed STARDUST, but man am I realizing how overrated that movie is with all of the people supporting it for Most Overlooked. It wasn't that great. In fact, it took too long to get going.

It would be WONDERFUL if Pinsent and Christie won best actor and best actress :)

I at least want Pinsent to win. He gave the best male performance of the year, IMO. At least that I've seen yet. I found him to be better than Christie, who was great as well.

Most Overlooked: Stardust or Live Free or Die Hard (not sure what it could've been nominated for though)

Right now I sense more support for Stardust, but if enough people are voting Sunshine, why not.

If Sunshine had only stayed Sunshine

Spoiler: show
and not become Event Horizon

I don't know what I'm going to back for Most Overlooked yet. I would pick Jesse James in a heartbeat, but Affleck's nom makes that impossible.

It's pretty much between Sunshine and Control for me.

I don't think there will be enough support (besides alex and Rod), but I'm sticking with Lust, Caution.

Can we vote for a movie that was otherwise nominated as Best Foreign or Best Animated Film? I hadn't really considered that, but if so...

PERSEPOLIS.
